I love it and have to point out that mr. Jake isn't upset or angry about people using his image as thumbnails or training clips. He's just like "well.... Not to say you're wrong, but it's not just what you're saying ".
Love this!! The main point however was that curls are not the best exercise for biceps. Compound exercises are and gymnasts do very little to no curls.
Finally some real truth. It takes atleast 5 years of hard training to get that peaky biceps. Some street workout athletes have insane biceps development too.
As a regular gym goer I can tell you that we can work out up to a certain point and if we go beyond that we start losing muscle. So unless you're on steroids that idea of being so many hours working out will not give you anything but injuries and muscle loss
Would muscle developed by work out + steroid as flexible as muscle developed by pure work out? Or does harder muscle helps gymnast? If it won't, does gymnast follow a specific type of work out to avoid having undesired hardness of muscles?
simple because, as in all sports at a high professional level, doping is used. I'm a former gymnast so I know what I'm talking about. training every day even twice a day, it is literally impossible to develop even an ounce of muscle when you are overtrained in addition to catabolism so ... this is the secret. nothing takes away from anyone's skills but it is important not to get the message across with nonsense. Even those who do calistenics at high levels have ripped, defined physiques and a muscular fullness to compete with professional bodybuilders ... even in this case we want to think are they natural? so are bodybuilders who use doping stupid? please
@@mrt445 They dont dope to be ripped, but to be able to sustain such an amount of works per week, and to recovers faster and better, wichs by a side effect gives you better muscle mass, You are delusionnal if you think they dont dope at the level of this guy. If you want their physique you have to train like them, in order to train like them you have to dope, you cant build muscle while working 30+/h a week without doping. You wont be able to learn cross/Maltese/Butterfly and co along the other strenght skill on other apparatus without doping. And even with doping if you are not 160cm for 60kg you still probably wont
@@gin_sw1688 The thing is people like you are so insecure about your own athleticism or physique you believe everyone with a much better physique than yours must be doping. That's why a lot of you guys get angry over people who simply deny using steroids. Olympic weightlifters can carry more weight than gymnast but the majority of them don't have the physiques of a gymnast even when they're on steroids. The large biceps is the result of isometric exercises, and various upper body exercises not performed by other sports.
@@mrt445 Lmaooo, what an "argument", attacking me without knowing a shit about me 😂 Im very happy about my journey, i dont even workout for my physique, but for strenght and skills, im happy about my strenght, my physique and all the aspect of my journey. Love the math to simplify why gymnasts are super buff
THANK YOU FOR THE ILUSTRATION,MR DALTON,MAN OF GOD YOU ARE PLENTY OF WISDOM,BYE!

Love the video bro! I remember watching you rep the cross pulls one of my first days at OU… humbling experience😂
Glad you are posting this and let's cut through the hype and myths. Thank u
Great video, Jake. Informative, to the point, and cool to hear from someone so experienced in the field. Awesome job in your past competitions!
THANK YOU for setting the record straight! I'm glad someone FINALLY explained this!!

Im so late! I have been waiting for this!
I have this picture of you for background for motivation before my workout. Tnx man.

0:08 You don´t need a pillow to sleep, you just use your bíceps.
You are one of the best buddy.

i wish i can turn back time going for gymnastics instead go to the gym
Great video!
Plenty of high level gymnasts that don't have Dalton-sized biceps. Genetics is a huge factor.
Very true!
how are you doing pull ups for 5 hours

I thought Jake Dalton is the owner of Gymnastics Method channel.😂
I thought they are brothers.
😮😂😂
i think the same lol
Let’s carry on gymnastics at least as a fun
😊8 hrs per week of any physical wellness exercise as an adult can be a challenge. Doable if you’re an adult with a life scenario that allows that.
❤
7 HOURS A DAY WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!1
He's joking about it's true that his image is used everywhere 🤣😅
😍😍😍
So… you’re saying there’s a chance!
Nice explanation but now demotivated ...it means i can't get this huge biceps ever 😞😞
There are always biceps and pull up bars you can buy to achieve your biceps.
bro just do curls.. there are many different ways to achieve a goal.

Do the gymnasts use steroids?
