@@amalrajpc2876yeah india is good and am indian too sadly no good mma fighter from india so far ..our state manipur has some champ even in boxing like mary komb olympic medalist and 5 times world champ in his prime but no big mma fighter still though we ve 2 fighters who even fight in one championship too their s lacking in mma gym in my city but i hope we ll have a good one few yrs from now n hope to produce good mma fighters too like our people's did in every form of sports representing INDIA

The 2nd takedown at 5:10 was some of the most impressive wrestling I've ever seen. I waited a long time to hear you explain it. And apparently I could have waited one year less had I known about your channel.
I personally would enjoy high level wrestling being broke down by a high level wrestler. As a fan of the sport I know most names of the techniques but not necessary WHY they're being used in that moment.

Hey Henry. Thanks for the breakdown. But I think it will be more correct to say that it’s not a Russian athletes or Russian wrestlers but rather either athletes from Russia or from post Soviet Union area or ex-USSR wrestling school.
The thing here is the same as almost with everything that Russia did when ussr collapsed - Russia monopolised all economical, cultural, social and most important: historic things.
For instance: the most common myth in Russia itself, which is the basis for current anti west, anti ukraine propaganda: Russia won WW2
It’s not Russia, it’s Soviet Union and Allies.
More than that: most battles during ww2 in east Europe were happening in Ukraine, not Russia.
The sport:
Russian athletes.
These Athletes are from Russia and yes, they are russian citizens, but these wrestlers aren’t Russians. They Dagestanis. Dagestan is a small republic in south of Russia. Dagestan people has their languages (!!) and sub-nationalities. And they don’t like ethnic russians.
Khamzat Chimaev is a Chechen.
Chechnya part of russia, but Chechens aren’t russians, they are Chechens and russia fought two wars there, absolutely demolished the republic because they wanted to separate.
The same is Happening with Ukraine. Ukrainians aren’t Russians, but the latter want to absorb them.
So the point here: let’s not assume that everyone who comes from that area (post Soviet area) is Russian.
Everyone in Russia is rus citizen, but not every citizen is Russian.

That depends on the Volk versus Islam fight and I don’t think Dana would allow him to keep jumping up divisions without defending. LW is also way too big for him. Islam could get up to 180-185 on fight night. Possibly even 190 if he hydrates enough
@@j_the_don5160 I mean henry can weigh up to 165 lbs. If he does proper strength training (training for purely strength) it's possible. There's a 132 lb powerlifter named Richard Hawthorne who can deadlift 650 lbs while also maintaining great cardio. Strength is based on the type of workout your doing and genetics not on size. Common misconception also it's not about Mass it's about bone and muscle density.

Weight and mass eventually matter and granted Henry is an Olympic champion but Islam is also a sambo world champ. Henry can’t out technique him and he doesn’t have the size to overpower him. Him going up 3 weight class is A LOT so asking him to do 4 is insane especially when the power and competition is much different from 45 to 55. You just said he could get up to 165 at 5’4. Islam can get to 185 at 5’10. Do you see the difference? Islam also has a 6 inch reach advantage. Your asking so much of one man to be dominate with so many physical disadvantages
@@j_the_don5160 I train in powerlifting and train at a local mam gym regularly Overpowered guys that weigh 30-40 lbs in a strict wrestling match. Size and strength don't always go hand in hand. Many cases of smaller guys beating bigger dudes. You gotta know how to fight as a smaller guy, its a diifferent way of fighting
