@@kolysion164 fairly childish troll take on it. RF2 in general is wildly uneven quality and now effectively a dead game. AMS2 is consistently high quality.

Actually vice versa.
The other has better graphics but I don't care since the physics are shit. Rfactor2 is the only game that feels realistic in terms of driving, tires, brake, and suspension all the others seem to play with a guess, but Studio 397 almost nailed all the physics!

In Rfactor 2 there are cars that when it turns the car the car runs even if I turn slowly when I speed slowly, why does it happen? And how to improve?
Maybe your wheel rotation is not set correctly or do you have any of the driving aids on?

@@happilyaverageracer it looks amazing on screens and video with good edit. Absolutely. But it's fake feeling. You can notice the outdated textures, game engine issues and shaders when driving itself. You will see the trees, sharp edges between tarmac and grass area etc. Some tracks mods (such as Tsukuba conversion from Gran Turismo) looks amazingly well, but still you see big difference . Despite sol, Csp, the lightning effect, the season changes, the clouds are , can clearly see that ams2 is much more ahead
AMS2 looks natural, like you see from a real car, while rFactor 2 looks like a cartoon, because of vivid colors and general overbright palette.
And I won't judge the realism of a car's behavior on the track by video, as some commenters do, because that's idiocy.
It is necessary to drive and compare personally.
AMS2 looks better but RF2 drives WAY better hands down. Save the AMS2 for your girlfriend.

AMS 2 - Reiza is committed to continuous improvement of this game so it will only get better.
While I agree I also think s397 is also committed to improve rf2 even while working towards LMU
the problem is AMS2 in 10000 years will still be inferior to rF2, sad but dont waste time on a arcade game, use a pro game and get good

They are both very good! But AMS2 is very slightly ahead IMHO, because of better road elevation and road detail.
Details I agree, elevation I think is the same as I reckon they use the same laser data
AMS2 shakes the track, Rfactor2 shakes the vehicle. Rfactor2 doesn't darken the foliage hiding the detail.
The daylight looks way better in Rfactor 2.

AMS2 uses rF2 scans, they did the same with Monaco, Spa, Nordschleife
Don't know if AMS necessarily uses rf2 scans but more that I'd think that with Nords for example there would be one scan that Nords would sell to each Sim developer who would then build and interpret their version from that 🤷

bonjour belle vidéo , pour moi ams2 un peu au dessus de rfactor . pour le sons je le trouvais pas très bon dans ams2 a la sortie du dlc , mais j' entends que rfactor ne fait pas mieux sur cette M4.
Rfactor2 looks more naturally. The white balance of AMS 2 is completely off. It looks dull and pale with probably 8000k white balance far from real daylight conditions. Also the physical based rendering of Rfactor2 creates a much more natural lighting mood in the environment, especially in the vegetation. I drive both and have compared a lot in different light
Are you mean rf2 palette colors? It is out scene compared other new sims

I dont like palette colors or washed colors of rf2…..looks too much cartoon…..but ams2 isnt the best looks for this point…..for me GT7 looks the best
Same too for me. In VR also RF2 looks much better and real. AMS does gave great car details in some cars that look much better. But track wise and gfx, rf2 looks so much more real. Especially with oled. On Bigscreen beyond looks amazing. Also did AMS 2 but dont look as good on it except car interior.
Is it just me or is there an agreement between the studios to copy the track? You can tell that someone copied with the other's consent, they are strictly identical, with small changes to the license plate, even the car's rear view mirrors are identical.
You are very wrong…..seems like you didnt see indeep both tracks
They probably used the same laser data for the track and the cars would be licensed from the manufacturer so you’d expect them to be identical
