Fascinating although I wish there was more with Randy, I know he's so shy...but this is really cool for a die hard Eagles fan like myself! I already knew all of this but fun to hear it from their own words.
Really great interview, although I had to listen more than once to discern Randy's sentence about Miami at the intro! This is a real deep dive into the origins of how each one ended up in California, and their early influences, and who they met along the way. Bob Seger, JD Souther, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, and believe it or not, in Henley's case, Kenny Rogers and First Edition. The rest is history. One of the better interviews and quite detailed, that I've heard in a long time. A great time capsule for die hard Eagles fans.
same. im thinking maybe the interviewer didnt know it was recorded there. unless you mean pointblank you didnt know what he was saying, i meant more the context
RANDY WAS ASKED FIRST QUESTION, ANSWER AND WHO TOOK IT OVER?? FREY AGAIN😂😂😂 HE THINKS HE IS MORE IMPORTANT. FREY IS NOT!! IT'S RANDY WE WANTED TO HEAR.
I guess you don’t have pics from the 1977 line-up with Randy Meisner. Instead you show pics with Timothy B. Schmit. Ironic since you probably lifted this interview from the Randy Meisner Retrospective website, without proper credit, of course.
I love to hear the angelic voice of Randy, RIP beautiful soul
Randy Eisner brakes my heart, same as Don Henley and Glen Frey. Too much to ask for. More than excellent!!!
Great retrospective……..truly wish there was more of Randy
Wow! This is a real gem. It's great hearing my fave band talk about their very early days. Thanks for posting.

Randy seemed like a really nice guy, very humble. RIP he's sorely missed!

Thank you for this!
This is a great post. Thank you. 🙂
All the band members are so polite.
I hear Randy speaking only in the beginning. And the rest Frey and Henley speaking the most of the time. Why? Randy is more interesting.
Cool
Its really sad the way don frey died .Much to young too . Life is not fair sometimes .The wrong people die to early .

No, actually I got it from Lisa and Melissa .
@@eddiesteady1981 that’s nice of them to do that, maybe next time they can give you pics that match the topic.
