Bro they went crazy on Cynthia's AI in this game. I switched Staraptor in on Gastrodon to avoid Luxray getting quaked and she hard read the flying type switch with rock tomb. My jaw was on the floor.
She did the same to me lmfao hard read my ass . Luckily I got her on my 2nd try
her AI prioritises dropping your speed I think, I was trying to be a smart ass leading with infernape then baiting scald as I switched into my trace gardevoir and she still went for rock tomb
She did the same shit. I ended up loosing 4 times to her before I beat her and that was only because I had used a bunch of revives and max potions. Also used a 6th Pokémon as a free slot
How about putting a Mismagius against her Spiritomb to set 4x calm mind & a X-Speed when spamming sucker punch then sweep her team with Shadow Ball. Your team & plans just suck as the AI isn't that tough at all.

The entire elite 4 got a huge buff, probqbly hardest elite 4 there's ever been by far. And you can rematch them and they get better teams, twice.
From what I see they gave her steroids lmfao
A lot of the major fights in this game have been boosted hella hard to the point that the only chance people seem to have is with the exp share and friendship mechanic. It seems without those two, players wouldn't stand a chance in most cases.

Team is Gardevoir , Staraptor who I may switch to Crobat Infernape , Garchomp , Roserade and Azumarill who may be switched to Magnezone not sure yet need a stealth rocker don't want to make it chomp but may have to.

This game's difficulty is basically Mario&Luigi Superstar Saga: Entire game easy as piss, not a single enemy will ever give you trouble, until you get to the very end and all of a sudden get your ass handed to you
Maylene and Gardenia have put up a fight against me to. The devs buffed the gym leaders up.
Oh the the opposite of the SMT difficulty curve. Where the beginning is balls hard and the first boss will destroy you, and the rest of the game is smooth sailing, especially end game where you are just as overpowered as your enemies (if not more).

Kinda not new, though. I played HeartGold and did the double battle against Clair and Lance. Silver attacked my Water Absorb Pokémon with a water type move to heal me.
This is why grass knots important.
The whole game felt like easy mode then cynthia kinda clapped me 3 times.

Well shofu went out of his way to make it difficult by skipping fights so he wouldn’t be overleveled and he only had 4 usable Pokémon, if you got clapped playing the game normally then idk what to tell you

@@DeerayYoDaddy The problem isn't XP share, it's the level curve that comes with it. A suddenly hard elite 4 in comparison to the rest of the game is not a mark of great game design.
He had 4 Pokémon and had a normal play through and he is STILL under leveled. The only bad exp share was 6th gen because it was balanced wrong. The rest are necessary because without it you would be under leveled and would HAVE to grind
