Got already Anubis perfect and Helzephyr. Now it get harder want a nice ground mount and than in theory Lyleen Noct which i have no idea how to get her. And Lunaris which might a bit more easy but also dont got the right breed way now.

I hatched 3 shadow beaks at lvl 22 ish did not realize how rare he was. I think I was using a Aqua suzaku and a Helzephyr or a warsect the suzaku was male. One of those combos also gave me one astegon. GLHF I will do some better testing to see if I can narrow down what combo gives them.
As someone who just recently started out but is a lot into theorycrafting, i'd like to add that you shouldnt just follow the simple rule of it needs "4 yellows". Look at what the stats do, and what you need / want the pal to do. I didnt find formulas, but intuitively i would say that the element damage should be multiplicative with attack power. So a perfect combat pal would probably be 20% ele + legendary + musclehead + ferocious, all of which are actually coincidentally yellow. However, purely looking at offensive capabilities, sadist, hooligan and are pretty close to most of these, and they are just grey. Further, if your objective was to create a perfect worker or a fast mount, barely any of the optimal perks for those are yellow. So it really depends. At least in theory, im not sure if the effort would make creating workers worth it in practice, or if you would want a fast mount rather than a fifth combat pal. Also, the breeding system appears to be based on a breeding power system. Which is a hidden stat each pal has, lower meaning rarer / stronger / lategame. When you breed something their value gets averaged and the baby is picked based on whatever is closest to the result in terms of breeding power. So, in theory, you could create every pal by combining the pal with the lowest breeding power with the pal with the highest breeding power and then breeding their children to fill your paldeck. There is some exceptions tho, of course, as there is some (i think mostly the legendary) pals which can only be created if both parents match, and there is also apparantly some pals that can only be created using certain parents, ie dont exist otherwise. Didnt look into that too deep yet tho.
might consider Combat Legend 20% attack defense speed Lucky 15% Attack Muscle-head 30% attack Ferocious 20% attack not using a defense stat, but dead things don't hurt. I used different set up for my healer/tank that's all defense since I sue that one on passive to absorb hits while I try to tame junk
Just grinded up a Jetragon with (Legend, Divine Dragon, Vanguard, Stronghold Strategist), kind of curious if I can breed Swift and Lucky into one. Also made a male and female with only legend to try and breed that trait into other pals. This video was so cool and informative. props on the vid. first time watching also subscribing now also. Keep up the killer content and work.
ok got a male and female now both with the same 4 tier 3 traits, not to see if i can breed swift and motivational leader into a Jetragon, in case you are wondering why I want to see if I can breed a jetragon for almost pure movement speed. Just for the giggles.
so far the down side to breeding is the stats drop to like 1/2 of the boss parents stats, 13k health at level 50 drops to like 5k health at level 50. both have same upgrades also.
I also was able to determine a major flaw in breeding. The main stats of the offspring are no way even close to the original boss parent, example the HP of a maxed out +40 boss was 13k the same +40 on a new offspring at level 50 once leveled up was not even at 6k HP.
Yeah breeding is very random and requires a lot of luck. Even with 2 legendary parents it doesn't guarantee the "legend" skill, breeding is going to be a massive grind!
Yeah I believe the breeding will be good for pals that can't be boss's but I will keep trying to farm Jetragon's just to see if there is a slim chance of catching a 4 tier 3 passives boss since the base stats are so much better. @@CurtisBuilds
I wonder if we will ever find a method to figure out how to breed certain pals other than trial and error. I'm currently working on my own "attack" party team but I'm only 32 so I wasn't aware of the legendary trait yet. Stopping for now so I don't waste my time haha
I'm currently working on a huge spreadsheet with all the combinations, doing the hard work so you don't have to haha! But yeah I'd not bother doing anything to any pal without the Legend trait, it's honestly too good to pass up!
@@scrawny_ronnie7 It completely depends on what rares you have, for example, If you manage to get Shadowbeak early / mid game then you'll have an easy time getting Aestegon and Anubis. And from there you want to focus on getting Jetragon and Frostallion. Paladius + Necromus are difficult and having Jetragon makes the fight easier to manage. I would say realistically you'll be looking to get Legendarys mid game if you get lucky with rare captures.
Anubis has so many combos that there is too many to list, he's really easy to get legend on. To get Legend on Blazamut you need a Suzaku Aqua with legend, which is easy to get then breed Blazamut + Suzaku Aqua for legend Blazamut. To get Sukazu Aqua it is Jormuntide + Suzaku, and getting Legend on Jormuntide is easy, hope this helps :)

No one seems to know the answer to this but when you breed two pals of different species that dont create a new species is the egg random which parent species it takes after?
No. Each pal has a hidden stat from 1500-10. Chickpea is 1500, the rarest one is 10. So when you breed the 1500 with the 10, it add the hidden stat and divides by 2. This videos lovely, hoping I could get a code because I only got xbox gamepass for 10 more days but I wanna keep playing longer
How do you get grizzbolt with legend tho?
Still haven't hatched him yet, so unsure of the combination, but it can definitely be done
@@CurtisBuilds plz reply to this comment if you figure it out, i'll do the same!

Been playing on my friends account whenever he isnt playing just exploring and catching pals have been really fun
Didn't get any of them :(
great video and tips though, much appreciated 👍 :)
Thank you for the guide! This should make things easier when my partner and I can get into the game! ♡
Sadly, I didn't get a key. But the video was helpful, thank you!

i have no idea who should i use in my team so i use one Anubis which i got with 2 lego stats and trying to breed more of to improve him and the fire fox pal. Any recommendations?
Quivern is a really really strong Dragon type, and so is Jormuntide, I got these guys relatively early and buffed them up, they've helped me from mid all the way to late game. Another good Pal is Beackon or Ragnahawk, both very very good flying type Pals.
Bookmarking in case I ever get this masterpiece of a game.
You have one of those comfortable relaxing tones great for background noise. Thats probably an odd thing to say lol but you are def going to be one of my new go to background videos.
Thank you very much :)
Really nice guide, appreciate how much work went into this.
Try breeding Frostallion with Helzephyr.
Also Elphidran + Surfent
Going to test this, will edit if it works. And if it does, you'll be my hero!
Edit ~ Those combinations didn't make Quivern sadly =/
@@CurtisBuilds oh, lol. That wasn't for making Quivern, sorry.
It was just some pals you can (probably) only get through breeding
I found a way to get Quivern. Suzaku Aqua + Blazehowl Noct = Large Dragon Egg. I Got a Quivern out of it@@CurtisBuilds
