Loved your reaction! She plays both guitar and piano. In terms of songwriting, her album before "Short n' Sweet" (the most recent one), called "Emails I Can't Send" is a really cool record concept-wise: she said that every song in it started from one of the e-mails she wrote but never intended to send to the recipient since she basically used those as a therapy tool of sorts for her to work through the emotions that she wouldn't want to air out at the moment of writing, so the tracks are very personal and vulnerable. Also, a fun fact, since you noticed how much everyone vibed while playing together: the guitarist standing behind Sabrina here (his name is Caleb) has been playing with her ever since her first headlining tour in 2016 :) If you'd like to react to more of her videos, I would definitely recommend Espresso, Please Please Please, Feather, santa doesn't know you like i do (from her Christmas EP). Also she now has a Christmas special on Netflix (out this year) where she sings both original songs of hers and covers of classic Christmas songs with musical guests like Shania Twain and Chappell Roan and it's very much worth a watch ❤
16:17 man you gotta listen to/watch "please please please," it's one of the most weirdly produced and fun pop songs in recent memory. it sounds like dolly parton meets pink floyd meets toto...and there's an INSANE key change in the second verse
Her last album was such a surprise! I was blown away. I'll occasionally skip the last song but it's really no skip album aside from that. It's catchy yet smart. She's funny, cheeky and vulnerable. 9/10.
25:39 she writes at the piano a lot and then will bring it to the studio to finish up with her co-writers. or sometimes she'll have writing sessions with her co-writers and they'll start and finish a song(s) in a short time
I expect you to do the booty chimes sometime on twitch, please and thank you. You need to do the album, it's really honestly surprising how much I loved it. The arrangements are definitely special to this performance, it's awesome. Her live performances of Juno include her... mime-ing various positions, hence the chimes due to lack of space at tiny desk. Which she said was just "desk" for her bc she's tiny herself 😂
the studio version of these songs are more poppy, so if one is more familiar with the album version, listening to this Tiny Desk is so refreshing. btw Justin Timberlake Tiny Desk was also in full band like this one, even fuller probably. and that one is amazing too
This was a fun reaction video! Thank you and more power to you! ♥️ Her being 5'2 is not right 🤣 she's playing between 5ft and 4'11 (like many other 4'11s, me included). I agree that her songs are well-written! She writes all of her songs. It's also just fun to see how her personality is reflected in her songs and when she performs. She also has other writers who have so many great things to say about Sabrina, which is so cool to see as a fan. You should listen to Short n' Sweet. It's awesome!
You should react to Chappell Roan's Tiny Desk Concert. She also has a pretty full band - keys, bass, drums, acoustic guitar, violin, and cello, plus one background vocalist (Mia, the dark-haired background vocalist in this video). Chappell has similarly frank and clever lyrics, and also has the same producer / co-songwriter as Olivia Rodrigo.
Have you heard about KAVE... South-Korean band, (not k-pop boyband)... I'm so thrilled about KAVE, love songs Stone (M/V is brilliant), Say My Name, Legend, You... KAVE really rocks 🔥 check it out 🥰 asks Minni from Finland
I know she has a studio in her home also I’ve seen her play guitar, piano and keyboard for sure. I know she talks about writing her own music but idk if there’s any videos of her doing it with guitar. But she’s talked about how most of those were written on different occasions. Like she said she wrote Espresso in a diner on her last tour like really late when she was completely single and not into anyone she just thought it was funny with the lyrics since no one was into her.
I love how she always includes her personality in her music, it feels so personal
I love the band and singers she brought together for this! She does have such a country twang when she wants to. Love her whole album!
Loved your reaction!

i remember her vocal coach said she can do whistle notes.

I already thought she was adorable with catchy songs, but she’s def more than that! This made me like her more 🫶🏼
For Juno on tour she would do a different position every night
She’s from PA.
As a Nashville native who also has a very very mild twang… I hear it in you but it’s soooooo subtle

If there was a picture in the dictionary next to tuned in and syncopated all their faces would be on the picture
Please react to the new Billie Eilish Tiny Desk Its amazing
Victor Wooten mention! You are from Nashville!!

Sabrina is actually five feet to be exact. No inches after that
Me too… whomp whomp 😆
She plays piano, or she mentioned that she owns a grand piano. And I'm unsure on how she writes music.
Could you do Billie Eilish tiny desk 2024 please ❤
Could you react to Mónica Naranjo "Europa"❤❤❤?
Tedeschi Trucks Band is a 12 piece group that's done it before. Check that TDC out
Susan Tedeski had a pretty good career before getting married but Tedeski Trucks Band just works so well together.
Watch her Juno live in concert videos
