There's this interview where she said that, the moment she got her own creative freedom (cuz she just broke out from a long ass contract with Hollywood records, the one from Disney) she immediately wanted to do all sorts of genres. She apparently was inspired by Beyonce's Lemonade, which was such a great mix of everything. She's got a bit of pop and r&b-ish from her past discography but she's always loved country as well. So yeah, she's got range this one.
