Crater Viejo - Rincon de La Vieja

Crater Viejo, also known as Cerro Baltodano a long inactive volcano, now covered in dense vegtation. 🌋According to the few records about it, it stands at approximately 1800 meters, this ancient marvel within the Rincon de la Vieja complex boasts a crater diameter of around 500 meters and a depth of approximately 80 meters. Wrapped in lush vegetation, this dormant giant holds a small yet captivating red-brown lagoon shimmering within its depths.
On this footage you can spot a bit of the active crater on the bottom left corner (when seen horizontally) on the first portion of the video.
