thank you for posting this. been looking a mini skid steer but don't have 15 to 40k to throw down on name brands. I just wanted something to get the work done around my farm and this seems like a good option.
I’ve seen another machine made in prc, the Diggit sl850. A lot of guys had problems with jumpy acceleration and controls. The fix on that machine is a direct spool valve replacing the left side joystick. Wondering if you have been able to smooth out this function on your machine or if this is something you would recommend.
Well done sir, to go out of your way to give us some info. I will be watching for your future videos. You are living the dream by working outdoors with some toys. Some gently given advice from an appreciative old man: Stay out of college, find a good church woman, and buy a cheap microphone so we can hear you better. Do this and the world is your oyster. Thanks again.
Thanks for the video. I am debating whether to get the 15 hp or the 23 hp unit. About 1,700 difference. 7,500 for 23 hp or 5,800 for 15 hp. I am trying to negotiate price, but there are not many sellers in my area. I saw some at auction but they seem like a hassle and the distance to pick up is 10+ hours. Any insight which unit I should get? Should I just fork over the money for the 23 hp unit that is very similar to yours? I will be using it for residential use.
Don’t have any experience with the smaller unit but You can’t go wrong with more horsepower. I would get the larger one because you wouldn’t want to spend that much money just to wish you would have gotten the bigger unit.
Have you looked into importing one from China/alibaba? If you do a bit of research it's not too hard to do and you'll save enough to get whichever you want.
They often come with a toolbox that has a set fo filters, tools, a grease gun. The choke is iffy and the tension of the tracks are iffy from the getgo, loved it but it also was easily getting jammed with gravel in the sprockets where a toro would have just crushed the rock, this one jams on it and can be a challenge to free itself. Also, low clearence on this one and easy to get stuck if you lack awareness
Hey nice vid! Thank you for that! I think I saw one of your videos and I believe you said greasing the tracks tightens them? I could be wrong! Anyway could you give me some more info on this please and also do you know if there is like a bypass valve on the digger tracks where like if you gotta tow it out of the woods you can turn the valve and put the tracks in “neutral “ ? Thanks in advance man!
Yes, when you grease the tracks, it tightens them. Also, I have been researching about freeing the pumps to allow you to pull it but have been unsuccessful so far.
I used the spare that they provided. I believe you can go to places like Napa and cross reference a filter there. If you look in the groups on Facebook, there is some posts about it. I hope that helps.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video I do have a few questions will this take dingo attachments how is it going through yards like if you are going to use it to install a lot of mulch would you tear up the grass
I have heard that dingo and bobcat attachments directly fit. I bought it specifically for mulch. It does leave track marks in the grass if it is wet out. The tire model would be better for grass but I decided to go with track for dirt work as well. Make sure to subscribe to see more videos on it.
also in Northeast Ohio and have a similar one i bought from a guy on marketplace. Your video was great. ?just wonder what type hydraulic fluid to get. Want to have it on hand for when it’s time for a flush
Very insightful on the product. Very helpful for my business to be as productive as possible. I will be viewing all of your videos. I have been looking at AGT LRT23 Chinese Mini Skid Steer for my business. Do you think this will help my business boom as soon as possible?
I got this one and a narrower 36" wide KRT-23 at an auction and will say for anyone considering the KRT, get the LRT. The LRT's wider stance feels safer when moving around on any sort of side slope. Mine also for whatever reason doesn't have the drilled hole on the right side to access the dipstick so need to drill that out at some point. Also, when you do track tension, don't make it too tight as the drive gear is bolted to the frame, not the suspension so there's a slight bit of flex, enough in my case that the gears contacted the suspension when they got debris in the tracks. Once backed off a bit they work fine. Another possible tweak with a dire grinder to improve the clearances. For the $5000 CAD (about $3000 USD) I paid, still consider it a good investment. Used Toro Dingo with 2000hrs went for $19,500 at the same auction.
Great informational video, Do you know the weight of that machine? Do you think you could haul it on a single axle landscape trailer. thanks for posting? thanks for posting
It weights about 2,000 pounds. If you had a 3500 pound axle it should be able to handle it. I would be weary about putting it on a weak gate though, heavy duty ramps would be a better option.
I have an SDLool SL 380 wheeled skid steer. It has performed well with digging and moving gravel. My biggest complaint is how hard they are to service. I can't get to many of the engine parts due to the confined welded chassis. The Rato 740 23HP engine eats up the entire bay.
Not sure if it is in the comments somewhere, but can you use the aux hydraulics at the same time as moving forward and backwards? A few videos have said that the aux is powered by the same hydraulics on the right track causing the machine to move forward crooked.
@@nathant230 I wanted to use one of these with a 42 inch brush cutter. Having less than three pumps on these units really limits their ability to expand. Hopefully one day someone will come up with a kit to convert any of the bigger rato engine units to three pumps.
So there is no hydraulic filter, just a screen in the tank? How can i get more hydraulic flow? Mine has the two stage pump, looking for a 3 stage pump, or larger two stage pump If you have a hydraulic motor on the 3rd valve there isn't enough flow to turn the right track. The 3rd valve needs its own pump. I have seen some competitor models with 3 stage pump.
@lelandscaping9278 I'm sure it will serve you well moving bark and light duty top soils. Transport will be easier, and you probably won't rut out yards nearly as bad as in a bobcat. The test will be in durability. My old Case 1835 is almost 30 years old and didn't cost me much more than what you paid.
Hi , I just purchase one of these , I had to get the carburetor cleaned and ect... This is the first time using and the left track is not turning quick enough for the right side one.. do you know if there an adjustment for that?

Definitely replace the filter and Clean the carburetor if needed or replace it. If that doesn’t work I would replace fuel pump with an electric one. That’s what I did and it seems to be running better now.
@@nathant230 it doesn’t run my brush cutter and the tracks at the same time. After reverse figuring the pressure the closest number I’m getting is 6 gpm.
