    Airplane kits have become so much more accessible. My dad was always working on these, they hung from his shop.

    I built this kit years ago. Powered it with a Quadra 35. It flew great. I made the luggage compartment functional and put the receiver and on/off switch in it.

      lol yeah a little on the big size but it's a big model. I cant remember what the wing area is anymore nor the weight of mine when finished but it flew wonderfully and could swing a large scale like prop. I'd imagine using a 90 two stroke per plans would require a bunch of wieght in the nose. @alwaysflying6540

    what wood filler are you using?

      Gorilla wood filler that I don’t recommend the dedicated hobby wood filler sands a lot easier than the gorilla stuff.

    You have already screwed up by building with all the solid wing ribs, why make an effort to lighten the tail, it's too late to make any weight savings.

      I assuming that the plane is gonna want to balance tail heavy and that’s the reason I’m anticipating lighting the tail up purely for CG reason not actual weight saving.
