One key area for improvement is reducing weight, which can drastically enhance flight time, maneuverability, and responsiveness. I just got the T-motor but found that my Sunnysky F3P 4D motor and Sunnysky 3D/4D esc had much more power and smoother faster transitions. I just did not like the prop saver as the heavy-duty band broke many times in 4D with no way to put a collet adapter as the prop saver is built into the motor bell.. The T-motor comes with a proper collet which I like much better. You are sick with the stick banging. Enjoyed the flight.

    You could go furthermore by, replacing the servo arms connectors with bend wire glued to the carbon rod, and wraping it with thread because is lighter than shrink tube. You could shave alot of weight from the carbon prop with sand paper. You could replace the push rods from elevator and rudder with pull system with fishing thread. You could make holes in the less stressed foam areas and cover it with film. If you really want to go extreme you could strip the wires and glue them straight to the fuselage. You could shorten the battery cables and make some extensions for when charging. You could use a smaller battery but first you must get rid off some weight from the tail so you can have a balanced cg. You can build your own control arms from carbon strips. But real main thing would be to reduce the weight in the tail so you can use a smaller battery. You could also remove the plastic cover from the battery connectors, add shrink tube on the connectos, but you have to always be careful when connecting the battery. I don't know if that can be sanded, but you could sharpen the edges of the rear control surfaces and round the leading edges, making more aerodynimic and faster. But i don't think that foam can be sanded. From all of this what worth doing is making the control arms from carbon strips, a pull system with fishing thread, not fishing nylon, but thread, there are very very thin and strong ones outhere. Shaving the prop and the battery connectos, lose the red plastic cover and shorten the wires. What yould also worth alot would be sharpen rear edges of elevator, rudder and ailerons. There is a method doing this properly with razor blade, and two strips of metal, but is hard to explain, and easier to show. This would not reduce great lot of weight, BUT it will make the controls more sharp, more precise, the movement of the plane more fluid.

      Instead of uninsulated electrical wires, why not enamel coated (magnet) wire? And it just needs to be wire thick enough to not melt anything for one battery charge worth of flying.

    • @alexandrugajin763
      @alexandrugajin763 Місяць тому

      @@SnakebitSTI That can work too, i've done that to a very small delta wing i made once and works just fine. You can cut a small channel with a sharp blade in the foam and insert the wires in that. But you have to make sure, you position the reciver somwhere far from the wires, and this is in general anways. The actual current flowing through these wires is actually a magnetic field wich is guided by the wire, meaning the flow of the current is actually going outside the wire, so although even if the wires are not touching, this magnetic flield can interfere with the other magnetic field from other wires, instensify, like a coil does and disrupt the signal from reciver. Just don't make a bundle of wires all tied together from the reciver to servos and etc. You have to try to spread them around.
