Homeland is an edge-of-your-seat sensation. CIA officer Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) is tops in her field despite being bipolar, which makes her volatile and unpredictable. With the help of her long-time mentor Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin), Carrie fearlessly risks everything, including her personal well-being and even sanity, at every turn. You won't be able to turn away from this gripping, emotional thriller in which nothing short of the fate of our nation is at stake. - Фільми й анімація
This show is one of the best ever
life changing
Sad to see it ending.
Homeland is underrated.I mean this series bomb
Its not that its underrated its more that its quite complex in characters and story and its not for everyone and different intelectual levels understand it differently and for you to really enjoy this you need to be above average i guess :)
@WW ZWW oh thats good to know that those are worth watching i will look into them :)
Is da bomb....
Homeland > Trashland
they need to make a movie after the series is done
That would be nice. They are handing the series over back to the Israelites to continue.
This is by far the best show I have watched in a long time. It's so sad it's almost ending.
I am so upset, nervous and scared that Homeland is going to end.
I can't believe we only have two episodes left of this American milestone in television 😢😞
Homeland's singular brilliance will be greatly missed. Nothing else comes close to its level of writing, direction and acting...
@Forward To The Past false
@Forward To The Past lol
I don’t want this to be over 😭
I would assume Saul's Asset is Anna Pomerantseva. In the credits it has a character as "Young Anna" which will probably show a flashback to when Saul approached her to become a US Asset maybe back during when the US was backing Al Qaeda to fight the Russians in Middle East during their conflict in the 1970's - 1980's. Then flash forward to current times she's a bit older and played by an older actress. She will only appear 2 times in the series which are these last two episodes.
I AM SO EXCITED. I watched the entirety of this series in like a week, until I caught up. So gooood
Love, love, love Homeland ! Best show ever
This shouldn't be last season ooo gosh i love this thing ❤❤❤❤
@Saki Maro keep the distance !!!!!
Bring Homeland back!!!! Please !
Can we use Carrie to solve the coronavirus pandemic
LOLL
true wisdom
Ezzaldeen yet she is always right
Saul is not stupid. He will not take much time to figure out Carry’s intentions. She should have told him the truth. They might have provided false intelligence or sacrificized a smaller player.
yes.. Now then akani son bombed soldiers.. who cares why helicopter felt down? its don't matter anymore.. so if carry try to spoil asset will be a big mistake
@@mindaugaskarla exactly. Her decision making has been poor. I hope she still changes here mind and doesn't betray Saul. Carry betraying Saul is not the finale we deserve.
@@mindaugaskarla I agree on this. A president dead, a bombing on US special ops team ? It is moooore than enough for that stupid president to start a war
@@amazingvipul8392 And yet, if this is the way Carrie prevents a nuclear war, it is exactly the finale we deserve
there is no way they might have provided false intelligence, because believe it or not the russians also have "intelligence", and I think that the one case where it would be acceptable for carry to lie to Saul would be exactly when its about avoiding a nuclear conflict knowing that he wouldnt turn the person in himself.
so stop with the "they should ve" that script is very well written.
Can't wait to see how this will play out.
I'm gonna miss this show ❤️
I cannot wait to see this episode.
I'm expecting a BIG BIG CLIFFHANGER on the finale. WE ARE NOT READY 😂
ps: proud that most of this eight season was filmed in my country Morocco. I recognize some close neighborhood in Casablanca city, and other very far villages and desert city like Ouarzazate, well known as a set for amazing Hollywood blockbusters :)
Better not be a cliffhanger this season because this is the last season
They are not going to cliffhanger the last every episode of the show!
I didn't express myself clearly: by cliffhanger, I meant a shocking finale with unexpected surprising ending. They will settle things up, but I hope it's gonna be some unpredicted turns of events. We'll see next week !
I'm very late to the homeland universe and I gotta say it's one of the best shows I've watched, FACTS 💯💯🔥 🔥
Carrie is compromised, Saul knows and he is playing the game.
A non has a point she surveilled Brody, met with Yevgeny, she turned down his offer of station chief with complete autonomy. In season 3 she went through hell for him but with the motive of saving Brody, in 7 she definitely went all in. Now was that personal to Saul?
I don’t think Carrie actually did everything Saul asked of her. Passion of the moment - Nah, she did. Every single time it mattered, she did.
It’s kinda wild that the end of Homeland ended up being this elaborate and over-the-top trolley problem (do you give up the asset knowing she’ll definitely die or be tortured if you can avert war that would leave thousands dead?), but I think Carrie makes the correct moral decision. Irony of ironies!
Now we have to compare apples to apples. Carrie was asking him to give up an asset’s name to prevent (in her mind) certain war. When Saul asked her in season three to convince Brody to go on a suicide mission for his vision of world peace, she said yes. When he asked her to wake up Quinn in season five to prevent a terrorist attack, she said yes. When he asked her in season three to sacrifice her reputation and, then, her independence, to lure in a foreign actor(Javadi), she said yes.
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes.
As I said, she did what he asked every time it mattered. Did Carrie do EVERY SINGLE THING Saul asked her to over their twenty-year relationship? E no, I guess not every single thing.
Going to miss this so so much being one of the best things to watch
Less you all remember the statement the FBI agent made in episode 4 or 5..."someone told the taliban where to stand exactly to launch the RPG which hit the 2nd chopper. " We still do not know that answer
the taliban were simply moving to the initial crash site to see what happened. the 2nd chopper opened fire on the taliban on the ground, and the taliban returned fire with rpg. Go back to episode 4/5, it is clear as day.
As Haqqani said, those are their mountains. It's their territory. No one told them to be there. It's their area.
@@YourFaceGdDmit exactly it's their 'area of control'. Haqqani Sr. said so himself.
We can say that Saul was one of the best-built characters in history - alongside Carrie, Quinn and Brody... It would be possible to clarify the following doubts:
- Would you like to see Homeland reveal how the CIA explained Brody in Iran and his death to the American press?
- Clearly, Javadi's ability to receive credit for Brody's capture helped his cause in Iran, but did the US government reveal Brody's role in Akbari's murder?
- Was your name cleared for the CIA attack? I'd love to know what you think.
- Another loose thread: Paul Franklin and the murder of the "real" CIA bomber. He ended up doing that scene ... why ??
Carrie was publicly humiliated, beaten, doped, shot and put her life on the line countless times without hesitation, just to make others see Brody as she saw him ... and she succeeded. Abu Nazir, the CIA, Jessica and the show's own audience, no one came close to seeing Brody with the clarity Carrie has always seen. Carrie has always read Brody like no one else.
Ah, Carrie's dialogue with Javadi was incredible, it will be one of the most memorable moments in the series, without a doubt!
“And what you wanted, which was for everyone to see what you see in him. That happened. Everyone sees it through your eyes now ... ”
- How did Carrie see Brody? and how did the US come to see this? It's the world?
The 3rd season did not correspond to the 1st and 2nd as it should be.
Compared to most seasons it was weak, as the plot and plot issues that were overlooked or addressed briefly stood out in season 3. There was no "hunting" in Brody's scenes earlier in the season to make it look like he really was desired NOS.
Where Roya Hammad and his terrorist partner Mister X... They were?
We never received an explanation for the events surrounding how Brody's car was moved and his involvement, only what we got was the "real" author of the bomb at the CIA in a hotel that we must believe to be a super leap that changed the script. For such an investment in storytelling around Brody's family over the past 3 seasons, for him to just disappear the way he did, it was a waste of time - to make Dana's story worse, it was shallow. And all those scenes about Mike and Brody's wife continually in love with each other, and just ending up in season three were useless - and Brody's son disappeared. What about Brody's marine friends who thought he was part of the conspiracy? And Quinn's underutilization throughout the season after being instrumental in the beginning of the second season's premiere.
All positive points, they should have made the homeland a show of this 3rd season and address every possible plot!
Claire Danes and Damian Lewis gave us, in Damian’s words, “two broken-winged birds sort of hobbling and circling around each other” in Carrie and Brody in such a compelling way that even though it really ended in tears, it was a GREAT RIDE as long as it lasted. And if you miss these two as much as we do, you may want to re-live the LOVE with Carrie and Brody: Was It Love? YES.
Homeland had a sensible ending, closed all of Carrie's stories, while continuing the ongoing story of America's and Russia's rivalry. The series ends, but does not end, only better than that was seeing all these years incredible performances by Davis, Damian Lewis, Rupert Friend and Mandy Patinkin ...
Can it be tomorrow already.... cant wait for this episode.... love Homeland storyline is the bOmB
Best show I've seen in a long time, I don't want it to end. Two more episodes, and it's done. Sad.
Saul is a double agent I think hehe.
Gorin is probably the informant
what "gorin" ?
there s no "gorin" in the whole series cast
Yes! I remember him...
David Copperfield check final episode of previous season during the prisoner exchange.
I don't think so. He was in US custody almost the whole time (season 1-7).
After all the things Saul did/does to her, she is still not truthful to him. She should have told about the deal which would have helped Saul to decide what to do next
Waiting for the last episode for a binge watch
I have a bad feeling Carrie is that asset or the sacrifice Saul has to make
With Homeland, you can never know ! Let's not forget that she barely take her meds right, and with the previous seasons, we all saw what she's capable of when she's off her meds. What if the finale will be showing us that she was tricking everyone from the start ???
deepulse thats what im sayin
Yevgeny said the asset has been in the Russian government for decades.
Only two episodes until the end.😳
Sauls ex wife is the agent lol.
Nah it would be a trip if saul is more deeply involved.
OMG!!!!!
I Hope that Is not up the time to put Carrie in the bag/
Yet, More we're approching the end & more I'm fear for her fate!
Alas! That's Homeland & up to now everything can be happen!/
Even the unspoken: Carrie's death or jailing!
Two more episodes ( while our hearts Don't cease beating) & then all the cards Will be revealed!.
What a Finale Season/ What a masterclass of acting & writing/ What an Epic show!
UNFORGETTBLE!
The highest Praise to Claire Danes & all the Homeland crew!.
If u think about it, Saul n yvie the Russian might be in this together. The part after max dies, the helicopter came ....yvie was waiting there where a 50/50 chance of Carrie running to him would happen. How would he know which way Carrie runs. So Saul had to sort of force that but made it look like it was not his idea but the FBI or whoever
Max said that the flight recorder was black.. And the one Carrie found was orange in colour... Suspicious...🧐🧐
krutika gawde no max said it was orange, you’re confused. When Carrie keeps telling him to get the black box, he quips, it’s orange ( or red, I can’t remember) Well known fun fact about black boxes is that they’re never actually black,
Don't go this way Carrie. Not with Saul for god's sake
you realize there is nuclear war at stake, do you ?
Carrie is fixing to end up in the trunk just like saul's former lover that was a double agent
@@rhinoblack1 lol
❤️❤️❤️
move the fucking bus
Is Saul really telling the truth ??? I just hope Carrie gets the flight recorder ....
0:50 Which country is the most dangerous to spy in?
Russia has the best counterintelligence on the planet. The FSB does an amazing job monitoring all potential foreign intelligence officers operating on Russian soil. Over the past decade, Russian intelligence has thoroughly penetrated Washington through and through at all levels. However, the CIA has openly admitted that it has lost all access to the Russian leadership over the same period thanks to the solid counterintelligence work of the FSB.
We can say that Carrie & Saul was one of the best-built characters in history - alongside Max, Dar Adal, Quinn, Brody (and Fara, Astrid, Virgil, Maggie)... It would be possible to clarify the following doubts:
- I would like to see Homeland reveal how the CIA explained Brody in Iran and his death to the American press. Clearly, Javadi being able to take credit for capturing Brody helped his cause in Iran, but did the US government reveal Brody's role in Akbari's murder? Was his name cleared for the CIA attack? "And what you wanted, which was for everyone to see in him what you see. That has happened. Everyone sees him through your eyes now ..."
- How did Carrie see Brody? and how did the US come to see it?
It's the world?
Brody and Quinn... I loved both of them. Both inspiring and very human, dealing with their struggles. Actually the whole series is full of so interesting characters... Quinn’s ending was heartbreaking, and so raw...
I hated that he died, the show was not the same without him, something was missing, the stor ended unfinished
We have just 2 episodes to go in which the flight recorder needs to be brought to the US, Jalal Haqqani has to be unveiled as a liar & brought to justice by the shoora and Carrie has to be acquitted and start something new. It's fairly clear who Saul's asset in the Kremlin is.....the one who has access to the black box and brings it in to tie all these loose ends together in the finale. I think I know who it is... let's see
oh thats how she will go about it... in trailer i thought she straight forward asked him... i dont see this ending well between them and it would be a shame but her job is also to put country first... the biggest problem is will she do it in time to prevent a war or will she betry saul too late and the war will already be set in motion and once the shit is out it never goes back in x.x
best show!
I thought the same thing watching the trailer!
It's not her job. She is not a CIA operative. She is a private citizen who is currently committing treason.
@@KateMich12 yea but she swore it once and it might be in her power to do it or at least she has to try. Shes not CIA for most of the homeland and she does this all the time =D
Do you know when this drama can be on Netflix?
The final season will be on it next year at the earliest
I thought that ep10 was the end lol
sauls got a spy in the creblin ! wtf
Kremlin*
Wait. An RPG clearly shot down the choppers. So someone changed the black box info?
Well according to the black box, only the second chopper was shot down by RPG. The first was a mechanical malfunction. Then, either someone did tell the Taliban where to go or, more likely, they were already nearby (it's their territory) and went to the crash site and took the opportunity to shoot the 2nd chopper down.
Could have been max
Saul isn't dumb
How can I watch Homeland in UK ???
Channel 4 Sunday nights 9 pm
Is there no fucking line? No, there isn't.
Was there a main reason Carrie turned herself in just asking
she needed to get back to the US to speak to Saul and find out who the Russian mole is. she couldn't get it done from out of the country. so she did what was needed to get sent back to Washington, even if in handcuffs.
Is the Russian president himself. 👀
Put in. 👀
This will probably end with them getting the black box back somehow. Probably by giving up their assest. Either the Pakistani Army will turn their attention away from the US and go after Jalal or his own men will turn on him for lying.
Seem every other countries want US get into trouble, the director capture the core of now age, but as the Homeland shows, seems gov don't think so in reality world
Is there no fucking line?
I do not understand Carrie's intentions.
She gave up the location of CIA operatives and long story short, they end up dead because of her. How is that not being a traitor? It can be argued that she did it for the greater good, to get the flight recorder.
However, how is this her current move to betray Saul by giving the Russians the identity of Saul's asset not plain treason? First, Saul knows how important this flight recorder is, if he thinks it's not worth giving up his asset for, why won't Carrie let it be? Except it just inside her to do reckless things and betray the people that trust her,
I mean, who is to say the flight recorder would even stop a war? Crazy foolish Jalal hakani has killed CIA operatives and would do worse. So the flight recorder would just make the US fold their hands and watch jalal hakani boasts? The US would just keep watching as Pakistan continue to protect Jalal?
Carrie, grandiose Carrie, savior of the world is a traitor full stop.
Unfortunately, most CIA operatives on TV are similar, they do shady things for some greater good and I usually don't like them. But remember that the bus driver ran, never even tried to get the Special Ops team to safer spot and neither did soldiers in the boarder. So she's not the only one to blame for that. And who would ever say that the Special Ops team would be the target of someone like Jalal Haqqani? He would never thought of them. They were targeted just because they were seen as the least important American people in Pakistan by Haisam's guy. So they would have been returned safely if it wasn't for that guy. You know, she didn't really sacrifice them. That guy did. There was huge chain of small events that led to this terrorist attack.
Yevgeny is to Carrie what Abu Nazir was to Brody. She knows that the things Yevgeny has asked her to do are wrong, but she can't say no because of the emotional attachment to him. He took care of her and was kind to her when she was being tortured by the Russians just as Nazir did with Brody. She is acting as a traitor but is too far gone to realize it. Yevgeny isn't giving her the recording back no matter what she does. It's either been destroyed or they will use it once America acts against Pakistan to claim America knew Jalal was not responsible and used a lie to start another war. I don't foresee any sort of happy ending for her. And it's clear this will be the end of Saul's career. I hope it doesn't cost him his life as well.
Calm down it's just a TV show
@@soham3156 Fun to be invested.

If Carrie betrays Saul, therefore I'll be done with this Series. Moreover the Russians have nothing on Carrie so why on earth is she keeping the truth from Saul ?
This is the last season of Homeland so it doesn't matter if you're "done" with the show since there will be nothing more to watch!
@@meeeellar hahahahhahaa I know that it's remaining 2 episodes 🤗🤗
Because if Saul knows her plan and disagrees with it, she can't do anything anymore.

Now then Haqqani son bombed soldiers.. who cares why helicopter felt down? its don't matter anymore.. so if carry try to spoil asset will be a big mistake. Soldiers death is 10x reason to hunt him down...
I think it's the other way around... if we follow logic, knowing the truth behind the falling of a US president is 100 times more important than the death of US soldiers who are on a mission risking their lives everyday.
this episode was a 'undeclared' failure!
the bombing of the captured c.i.a. ops should been enough to have america attack... someone. this episode was total snore! no none did jack except talk!
even their drone strike was a total lackluster! we don't even know exactly who america bombed. i don't see how episode 12 will have a complete resolution on the characters personal lives unless they do a time jump.
I'm not going to waste my time watching episode 12. episode 9 & 10 will be the series finale for me. man what a disappointment. half of episode 11 is nothing but flashback of the 1980s or something. ugh!
