I appreciate you more than you know.. I’ve been spraying the Debeer 900 for over a year and I learned how to spray this paint solely from watching your channel. Very little help/support from my rep when I needed it. I blew through a lot of paint starting out I was repainting everything and I found your channel and learned the right way! Thank you for making these videos and keep em coming 😎

I’ve reduced a color 80-90% to do a blend with a fine metallic gray. The other painter decided not to check his work and painted over a run he had in the clear so when I went to cut it out with a razor it immediately broke through the color. I did the blend within a 10 inch radius. The rep told me it couldn’t be done and was impressed and shocked when I did it, trick I got from watching UA-cam painters.

We recently switched to 9k from spies and I’ve been struggling with metallics. Mostly colors with 9041 and 9043 combined. One thing I’ve been doing on my drop coats is a 50/50 mix of color and wetbed. It has helped but I’m definitely trying the 45 degree technique.
    Thank you for the video!

I’ve done that a bunch as well! I’ll probably make a video on that as well for others! 🍻

Superb job on the blends Joel it always amazes me how you make it look so easy, do you know if the 45 degree drop coat will work on solvent mate? for some reason my basecoat looks and feels nice and smooth but once it's dry then I do my drop coat the finish looks ok but it feels a bit rough and gritty, the only way I can get a smooth drop coat down is to lay it while the previous coat is still wet this is all done using solvent with my DV1 1.2 and the B+ aircap at around 1.1bar on the digital gauge I also use slow reducer🤔🤷‍♂
Thanks for sharing this Joel your videos are always packed with useful tips and tricks🙏👍John UK

Been spraying Martin Senior for years. Also owned by Sherwin. Honestly, for my area at least, it's a Sherwin issue with service. Their service from line to line simply is embarrassing and subpar

Do you spray both the dv1 and dv1 plus air caps at the same air pressure?

Ive never been a fan of envirobase, I recently went back to my old job that uses ppg after using Glasurit for the past year and I fucking hate it lol.

Glasurit is one of the best paint lines

I'm the opposite. Ppg envirobase has been my favorite. For me it’s been the most forgiving 🤷🏾‍♂️

PPG is the easiest for solvent guys to transition to water with.
