I really hope Riot makes more Lol series or a season 2 or something like that. I’ve never played Lol but their cinematic trailers are amazing and somehow are able to tell full stories and build vast interesting worlds in 3 minutes and I think there is soooooo much potential (as we’ve seen with Arcane) to make more series

My favorite characters so far are Viktor and Jinx. My favorite episode is 3. In my opinion Act II had a better start than Act I but it didnt feel as conclusive as Act I, which was to be expected. Cant wait for Act III and more seasons after this one!

I hope to god that they make a Runeterra Cinematic Universe. Imagine how many fucking movies/ TV shows you could get out of Noxus Vs Demacia, Ionia's battles to defend itself, more piltover and zaun stuff while Viego and the Shadow isles is like the white walkers. There is so much potential there and after the success of this one can only hope.
Would like them to give Shadow Isles a second chance this time around. Want them to do it properly this time with the RIGHT actors on the stage i.e. YORICK
I liked Act 1 A LOT cause of the emotional impact it had, but Act 2, OH MY GOD. I love the way they've handled Jinx. While it was entertaining as hell and kinda funny at times, when you really step back and look at her, its pretty fucking sad. She has had so much trauma in her childhood that her mind is just broken to the point that when she finally reunites with Vi, she has to ask if she is real. God damn Riot, you ingeniously sadistic bastards. And then Jinx and Silco's father/daughter relationship is almost kinda heart warming. Also I like where they're taking Viktor, and Caitlyn and Vi's interactions were such a pleasure to watch.
Yeah. Ultimately Harley Quinn is actually fairly sane medically speaking. Jinx is actually fucked in the head to the point of severe PTSD, hallucinations, psychopathy, possibly bipolar disorder, and abandonment issues. Girl had some serious trauma in her life.
@@death2able Her and Joker are just psychotic and sadistic, but ultimately they're actually quite stable (actually Harley's a little unstable, but not as much as Jinx from what we've seen). Jinx is psychotic on top of having multiple severe mental illnesses including schizophrenia. She sees and hears things that aren't real, and suffers from PTSD, making her even more unstable and likely to snap at any moment than she already was as a child. Yeah, Joker and Harley are by no means normal people, but medically speaking, they're pretty sane compared to Jinx. Though Juaquin Phoenix's Joker was a little more on the mentally ill side.

Loving this series, it’s completely got me invested into the League of Legends lore and media now as well, everything from their cinematics to the music videos and short stories are just great. I so do hope this is a major success for Riot. Want to keep seeing more of this world explored

It's definitely not that alot of champs and items are unbalanced most of the time or that riot prefers punishing people who are vocal in all chat but wintraders, boosters, people who ruin ranked games aren't punished or maybe it's the fact that sometimes it doesn't matter how good your macro is or your mechanics, some games your team is just trash and their ego won't ever allow them to be carried. That's a few reasons.
This act was really consistent as should be appropriate for the middle portion of a story. The first act set things up with a plot twist and this act delived on the ramifications of what happened before with consistency. Can't wait to see it's conclusive arc.
Nah riot did a fantastic job, I play league and i never used to care about viktor but he is fast becoming one of my favourite characters. That scene with him and the "Dr" towards the end was so subtle but good
I'm really familiar with the lore yet this series is something I've never seen before. From what I've noticed they've changed quite a bit of lore for arcane (like Jayce and viktor's backstory) and honestly I don't mind because this is really damn good.
Every scene Jinx was in is my absolute favorite. I love her character and I’m always so excited to see her. She’s so fun to watch. She was the best part of act II
They have now a Character in it, that can connect the audience in, or is it just me that had some moments thinking something that Caitlyn actually put in words ? Caitlyn is a great anchor for a little bit of sanity in all this and was much needed.
True but that is also her character flaw. She's nothing more than that and I love her for that. She was written pretty one dimensional even in game. She is one of those boring characters around. Camille kinda remedied that but Camille's storyline was way way way more interesting than Caitlyn

I play league which made the nickname pow pow hit so much harder. Jinx calls her gun pow pow and talks to it. But now... Pow pow is just jinx talking to her old weaker self (while she's going crazy). She was never talking to the gun. Just her old self.

Not knowing much is what keeps me interested in this series. I'm on the edge of my seat and wondering how things are gonna wrap up, who's gonna die, and what's gonna happen next. My favorite part of the series are the little artistic touches that you'd only see in a comic book, some of the art direction is quite inspired and its animation really wallows in itself which is nice to see, but it doesn't overstay its welcome either when it's time to focus on an emotional beat. Great show!
ACT 1 was basically a dark studio ghibli film with a brutal ending. Act 2 was like a more tastefully done game of thrones with harsher language episodes 4 to 6 was definitely a R rated show while Act 1 was pg-13 were not dealing with kids anymore.
Episodes 4-6 feel like episodes 1-2 where they are like a reintroduction to the situation of the world and the main characters after the time skip. It feels like most of the scenes in the trailers are already done so everything from now in is mostly in the dark. This should scare/delight everyone as this show has shown that it can get dark. Be ready for the insanity that the recent episodes are working towards in 7-9.
I will say its the best animation I've ever seen in any show ever. Ever. No a hot take. But beyond that, from someone who has never played a second of league of legends. I will say this might be the best video game story adaptation of all time.
Holy crap! I knew nothing about League of Legends and this is absolutely fabulous!! The animation is next level!! Act 1 gave us the incredible back story and act 2 is just fabulous!!!
Really loved Act 2 and everything in this show so far. Also seriously hope they are able to introduce Warwick next week (A tall order but this show has done the impossible).
Episode 6: snippets: Teemo's cameo, Singed finally showed (Hope to see his creation, Warwick), Pow-Pow (Jinx alias and also her mini gun's name), Ekko is the masked firelight leader.
I think Act II had a better start, while Act I had the better conclusion. Act I ended with a tremendous gut-punch that is just as, if not more shocking as any scene in Game of Thrones, while Act II ended in a cliffhanger, which I still loved, but would have wanted a bit more to it. Act III I believe will be something truly special when I see it.
Structure-wise, it would be hard for Act 2 to surpass Act 1 because you kind of need it to flow into Act 3. Act 1 was good, but it was really about Episode 3. Eps 4 - 6 imo are more in line with Eps 1 - 2 in terms of quality. Ep 3 was just so amazing.
Himerdinger (or however you spell that little cute old fuzzy character is right) Hextech should have never been made, or at the very least spear headed so rapidly without the consideration of it's potential devastating cost. But then that would make me sad, because for all those that knew the Camille (we mains know and love) is born anew of Hextech and becomes the 5v1 badass she is. So this whole time Jayce had my vote to push Hextech, for the birth of Camille alone. I really wanted to see her in this series. But sadly seeing how this is the birth of Hextech I doubt she will come into play, funny I don't hear much if any details about her family House being mentioned.

They are sticking to the lore pretty well, the only major difference I can really see is that they are making Jayce less of an asshole than he is in the cnaon lore, but I think that fits his character here much better to not be an ego centric asshole just yet
I agree but I do think we get another bit of a time skip in act 3 and we will see jayce be more ego or developing to that point that is familiar to us, and I think this works as he's getting sucked into the piltover politics

From what I've gathered, we don't actually know what "in production" actually means in this case. By 6 years, we don't know if they are counting from the time they got the idea or from when they first started writing the script, etc. The writers have now acquired some experience working in this field and management will likely allow more focus to be put on future shows considering how well-received Arcane has been. All in all, I don't think it will take 6 years for another show to come out.
Act II has better phasing.. Riot did an amazing job with Jayce and Viktor .. if you play the game vs seeing them now you will see how complex they are! Jayce in game was a hero, a golden boy, a celebrity but in arcane we see some of his negative side.. while Viktor in game was villainous .. in arcane he has a great cause! Caitlyn was pretty one dimensional even her lore was written like that 🤣.. she's just an enforcer nothing more nothing less.
Jinx's and Silco's relationship is done so well. The fact that there's some weird sexual tension between them makes it all the more creepy but also compelling.

With the retcon of Singed, I wonder if they will retcon more of Viktors lore and make his descend into villainy more... tragic than what it was

the series took 6 years in production they say ..... this makes me so sad, its gonna be long till we get a seasson 2 :c
From what I've gathered, we don't actually know what "in production" actually means in this case. By 6 years, we don't know if they are counting from the time they got the idea or from when they first started writing the script, etc. The writers have now acquired some experience working in this field and management will likely allow more focus to be put on future shows considering how well-received Arcane has been. All in all, I don't think it will take 6 years for another show to come out.

Act II has better phasing.. Riot did an amazing job with Jayce and Viktor .. if you play the game vs seeing them now you will see how complex they are! Jayce in game was a hero, a golden boy, a celebrity but in arcane we see some of his negative side.. while Viktor in game was villainous .. in arcane he has a great cause! Caitlyn was pretty one dimensional even her lore was written like that 🤣.. she's just an enforcer nothing more nothing less.
I'm really jelous of those who don't know how Viktor is going to evolve
Only sad part about this is season one is almost done 🥲

Jinx's and Silco's relationship is done so well. The fact that there's some weird sexual tension between them makes it all the more creepy but also compelling.
