सबकुछ अपने आप ही होता है या भगवान है ?
जब महात्मा बुद्ध के निर्देश अनुसार भक्ति करने से कोई लाभ नहीं हुआ तो सब ने यह मान लिया की भगवान है ही नहीं अपना काम करो और खाओ, बस। अब यहां यह समझना होगा कि बुद्ध की क्रिया के अनुसार उन्हें भगवान नहीं मिला तो इसका मतलब यह है कि भगवान पाने का उनका तरीका गलत था ना कि ये की भगवान होता ही नहीं है। लेकिन बुद्ध के कारण लोगों की मानसिकता यह बन गई की भगवान नहीं होता है सर्व ब्रह्मांड, सृष्टि, जीव-जंतु, पशु-पक्षी, सब अपने आप ही बनता और बिगड़ता है कोई कुछ नहीं है यहां पर? जीव अपने आप ही उत्पन्न होता है और नष्ट हो जाता है और भगवान है ही नहीं। लोगों ने उनकी बातों में आकर कहा कि सब भ्रमणा है और फिर यही नकारात्मक मानसिकता के आधार पर एक सिंद्धांत बन गया जो कई लोगों का अनमोल मनुष्य जीवन बर्बाद कर गया और इसके कारण कई देश जैसे चीन, म्यांमार
आदि नास्तिकता के घोर अंधेरे में चले गए और भगवान और मोक्ष से कोसों दूर हो गए।
Kishan Das sahi baat hai, biological evolution hua hai, insaan ke jeevan ko kisi intelligent God ne design nahi kiya, insaan evolve hua hai. Human life ka udeshya apne jeevan ke liye udeshya dhoondhna aur usi dharm ka palan karte hue apna karm karna hai. Bhagwan ne insaan nahi, insaan ne Bhagwan ko banaya hai.

परमात्मा कहते हैं कि जो पूर्ण गुरु से नाम लेकर मर्यादा में रहकर भक्ति करते हैं, उनकी दुर्गति नहीं होती है। जबकि गौतम बुद्ध ने इसके विपरीत साधना की और अंत मे गंभीर रूप से बीमार होकर उनकी मृत्यु हुई।

just a long useless introduction. And calling it Tibetan meditation is also wrong. This is the basic meditation Anapanasati of Theravada meditation. Even Zen is using it.

My biggest problem is trying to meditate without thoughts of gaining from the experience. Can anyone offer advice for this??

David Reed focus on ur breathin in and breathing out, focus on the present, no matter how many times u have to focus back from thoughts

Basically the idea is to meditate for the sake of meditating, even though you will undoubtedly gain from the experience you need to try and not think about it lol. I don't fully understand it my self to be honest but I think the idea is that even after practice you need to try and approach the subject in the same way; I guess because such thoughts inhibit the overall experience in the long run.
David Reed Meditation is not any particular thing. Meditation is simply sitting down with your mind and seeing how it works.

Yes it may be frustrating to follow when people do this as it is distracting. Yet, it is his way of staying focused. Those who studder will often use this to stay focused. They aren't even aware they are doing it. If you can take the meaning of his talk outside of that then this is what is important. I admire their simple message and life style. Tom

You made two mistakes.the first one that buddha was born in india and not in nepal. Secondly, he was not a price and his father was not having sufficient command to make buddha the next king. Buddha's father was a elected head in a republic and we all know those republics in north india were not monarchies. Each time a head died, another head was to be elected by direct elections
