    He talks to you like you’re a child. And I think it really works. Because the one that fears inside us is really a child who’s afraid of what he doesn’t understand clearly. You need to be calm to be clear. I wish you guys all the best.. we are survivors.

      @Mohan Brishnev I think he's trying to say that we don't sense what is right infront of us, and it betrays us. We should be open minded, and aware of our surroundings. We follow people who should not be in power, because we do not see that they are not worthy. We can easily just not follow them, what is one man supposed to do to many. Or something idk for sure, and i'm typing this at 1:20 am.

      Mohan Brishnev Humans fear what they don't understand. It's a completely natural thing, instinct, if you will. If you're afraid, anxious, wary, suspicious, etc, you are not likely to be calm. By "talks to you like you're a child," I believe it means he's simply breaking it down into easy to understand instructions.

    This is probably the most genuine and practical meditation I’ve encountered in my modest experience. There’s no breathing exercises, which undoubtedly can be useful, but seem to sometimes distract from the main point: pure awareness.

    • @ayw5118
      @ayw5118 2 роки тому +5

      yes. I started my meditation journey with a Rinzai school (zen) who emphasised stilling them mind via breathing which is identical to that in Theravada tradition- you count in various ways or just watch it. The first years worked fine later I wasn't getting anywhere. It was stopping me from entering a deeper calm, the natural dropping off just never happened as it was supposed to. My later zen teacher told me to stop it, there is no need to focus on breathing because it is not suitable for anyone, at least not in her practice. I feel like too many meditation practices, especially aimed to newcomers overemphasise on breath meditation. You gotta find your own practice, persisting on a unsuitable practice can be counterproductive.

    I suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, and OCD and this was extremely helpful. If you really focus just on what he's saying, you will begin to possess a feeling of oneness with everything around you. At one point it had felt as though my mind and body went numb and had faded into everything around me and I was one. I now have a clear mind, am anxiety free, and have a rather satisfying feeling of control over my mind and body. It only took 15 minutes. So powerful. Meditation gives me more relief than any amount of pharmaceuticals. It's a shame that meditation is so underrated. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It really helps!

      This is called ASMR. It's caused by certain sounds, voices, accents, and sometimes certain visuals. For me, the only ASMR that does it for me is people speaking English in a normally non-native accent (Asian accent, Russian accent, Indian accent, etc). If you or anyone else reading this feels particularly relaxed just by his voice, search for "asmr english" on UA-cam for similar voices and accents. Usually only non-native English speakers put English in the title, which increases your chances of getting a heavier accent.

      First thing, set an intention. A spiritual goal. Close your eyes and take the time to let your body relax in all of its parts. Then imagine. Let your look move, but with your eyes closed. First explore and hear what surrounds near you. The room, the roof, the objects, the sounds. But remember, do it without forcing it. Let enter only what enters by itself. Then move your look out of the house, always farther, reaching the clouds and finally the space. Once there, imagine the sensation of being there. Try to perceive how the infinite space surrounding you helps emptying your mind. Stay there for a bit, avoiding the past and future, being only in the present. Once you feel your ok, slowly come back from the space to the clouds, from the clouds to the house. And slowly open your mind. Bring back the consciousness in your body, and one of the most important thing: feel how your body changed from when meditation started. End. Love yourself, and then next.

    Wow... I just... I have no idea what happened but this meditation made me ... I don't know, but I think it made me "high"? I felt like I expanded and my body melted, it was scary but I tried to just focus on the sensations without judging, and... I felt almost reborn afterwards. I had no idea it was this easy to affect the mind and to feel like expanding. This was amazing! Thanks so much! For a moment I was afraid that it was dangerous to feel like that, but I am pretty sure it can't be dangerous. Amazing!

I felt my soul or consciousness slowly start to sway side to side. Then when he told me to expand my field of awareness I did. I slowly went from my body to my room to the house to the neighborhood to the city and then zooming through the sky and underground simultaneously, forming an ever expanding orb of awareness and maybe connectedness expanding from my body into the universe.

I love his sense of humor from another video, his peace, his wisdom and he explains things so well, and makes meditation and awareness seem so easily accessible to anyone. From a talk he gave 3 years ago (another video on YT), where he talked about his own panic attacks and how he dealt with it, I used his example as inspiration to deal with so much violent (sexual and otherwise) trauma I have experienced starting at a young age (I am 52), and...it worked! I mean, I have so much more work to do, but at least using his examples, I found a way to get a start on it, and it already feels manageable or more doable. Thank you, thank you thank YOU! I have been trying to heal my inner self, I've been reading the bible, praying, meditating, trying to find peace, and this meditation, made me tap so hard into my body and self and, made me so aware of what is really going on, inside me 😭thank you so much
