I'm a little surprised by how much control Sookie has over their guests' wedding plans. You would think they would have at least told Sookie if they wanted red velvet or some other cake flavor. I guess maybe they specialize in hosting weddings for people who don't want to bother with any of the details?

In my head, I’m already imagining Lorelai specifically advertising to people who would rather tie the knot at city hall, but their families have expectations that demand a real wedding, so Lorelai set up this whole nuptials package where all the bride and groom have to do is show up with their wedding party ready to go.

We had to endure a slow burn with Luke and Lorelei then when they finally get together they made it unwatchable bs unromantic crapfest. Hate this show!
