OK, I know this is going to sound weird but Rory's bedspread in the apartment she shares with Paris always bothered me. I looks like something my grandmother had on her couch.

I don’t know why, but I’ve always loved this dream sequence. It explains everything about Rory’s character and her deepest fears. It’s honestly so realistic and relatable, and I just love how they chose to focus on that in this episode and not just in this scene. It’s also really understandable given where she’s at in her life at that point in the series and how she’s so close to the end of the show, but she’s only just beginning as she’s about to graduate. Hence, the “you’re not coming back” line from Headmaster Charleston (great cameo moment btw), which is actually true in a sense because there’s no more Gilmore Girls after these last three episodes (they didn’t know at the time if there was an eighth season or even that they would come back for “A Year In The Life”). There are so many callbacks in this one scene, such as Rory being worried about her worst fears coming true, which is her relationship with her mom falling apart again and being even worse than what we saw. Finally, it was certainly very interesting revisiting and seeing Rory in her Chilton uniform one last time! :)

Lindsay is a queen!

Lindsay is the only winner from this situation. Dean was so nasty to her, it really made me so sad when she went to the butcher to ask about how to cook the roast. She deserves the world! I wish they showed a scene where Rory knocked on Lindsay’s door and apologised just them two, not the mothers fighting for them. And Lindsay would have said her peace and Rory would have maybe understood more. They were all teenagers and it’s a hurtful and heavy situation to navigate when you are so young. I love this show so much.
