How A Psychopath Hides Bodies.

- This research article investigates the relationship between a sexual murderer's characteristics and their decision to move a victim's body from the crime scene. The authors analyzed data from 85 incarcerated sexual murderers in Quebec, Canada, focusing on factors such as the offender's personality, relationships, and the circumstances of the crime.
They found that organized, socially competent offenders who were in relationships were more likely to move the body, possibly to avoid detection. However, if the victim was older and there had been conflict prior to the murder, the body was more likely to be left at the scene. This suggests that both offender characteristics and situational factors play a role in body disposal patterns.
The study's findings support the homology assumption of offender profiling, the idea that crime scene actions can predict certain offender characteristics. The authors suggest that this information can be used to help investigators prioritize suspects and better understand the circumstances of the crime.
The study also offers a partial validation of the organized-disorganized model of offender profiling, but emphasizes the need to further research the model's usefulness.

Seeing Psychopaths aren't as Intelligent as "They" believe they are!!! May the Bodies be found! Closure & Justice for the Victims & their families.
This information is so fascinating but so scary 😩. I want my 4 “ kids” ( ages 18 to 32 ) to watch all of your videos to help them be more aware and knowledgeable on how to spot potential “ bad” people. They think I worry too much 😂, so we shall see if they will watch ! Thank you for your amazing videos !
🙂👍
I haven't even watched this video yet, and already I give it TEN STARS UP! 😅🙏
Yay for me!!!🙂
The fact that AI voice doesn't sound like a robot anymore is more disturbing than the psychopaths.
Until you meet psychopaths in your life
🫨
@Dli10111 i likely am married to one, so there's that. More of a sociopath though. Trust me, I've met some.
@@Nosferata138 Sorry, but I believe that sociopaths and psychopaths are completely different terms thanks to dsm 5 that unite them in one term, and there are similarities, but I would rather be in relationship with a sociopath than with a potential maniac
@Dli10111 That's why i said more like a sociopath to differentiate. I could also say possible BPD, but of course refuses to go get diagnosed. Not fun either way, and i should have put the word "almost" as disturbing as in my OP. Sometimes i just babble instead of editing.
No one wants to come home and find a body in the garage
Interesting. The predictability isn't as good as early profilers thought. Edit to add, but MindHunter is still a great series.
Thanks Scott! Very thought provoking. I learned some new concepts - curious to read the study.
YES! That’s what I’m going for! 🙂🙂🙂
@@ScottRouseepisode idea: use Ai to generate plausible case studies that emphasise specific things you want to have amplified to better educate on a particular topic
Wonderful idea to use AI to create this mini-teaching lessons, Mr. Scott. Great stuff; thank you so much!
🙂
I’m glad you came up with this idea of using AI to put the dense information into à video that makes sense. It’s a little cringe-y, but there are regular people out there who are, too. No big deal. I’m liking these videos and I look forward to more. Muchas gracias.
Thank you so much. 🙂👍
@@ScottRouse 😅😮💨😅🙏
Well, this was interesting for several reasons. It looks like a great article, except it's behind a paywall. I'd be very interested to see how to use this information to analyze a specific case ❤. I tried it on Sarah Boone, but I dont have enough information from the article to apply it. 😮 The Ai... smh, it's so bad that I'm analyzing the series of reactions I'm having to it. 😅 (just for kicks and giggles)
❤ At the same time, I'm glad to see you're kicking out more videos because I know it's helping out with the algorithm. ❤
Your channel is always interesting :-)
I like these videos. Ty for doing this!
Interesting… But, would really like to hear you Scott though….
I’m still doing my other stuff. I just wanna do these for people who want more precise information about psychopaths.🙂👍
Fascinating stuff.I wasn’t able to access the article though. This video reminds me of the Robert Durst murders. He removed and hid all the other bodies except the body of his longtime friend who he killed and even sent the address to the police where the body was.Guilt maybe, who knows.
Omg! I never knew that I needed to know this 😂
This is valuable and educational content which I am very grateful for. Thanks for everything, Mr Rouse
You sure are welcome. Thanks for showing up and watching. 🙂👍
This is the most fascinating video so far…. The whole AI thing is slowly growing on me.
I'm all for trying new things, but for me the ai voices aren't there yet. What I like about your channel is how you bring information from your point of view, your expertise... and those generic voices pushes that away... to me it makes the content feel as if anyone else other than you got those facts and thus lose in the process the credibility I would always give you. I know it's just the package that is different but I personnaly can't get over it. I hope you have a great day, thanks for your time! I'll keep watching as you always bring interesting information, nonetheless! 💜
I don't understand how this is so mind-blowing. Of course, personality, behavior, circumstance, etc. play into the decisions and actions of these individuals. Why wouldn't they? Humans are very complex creatures, and everything we think, do, experience plays into our actions, it's all interconnected. I think it's fascinating but not earth-shattering news. Sorry, but the voices are still so cringe to me. Especially the female voice, at least the male voice is subdued, but the female voice is way too amped about this subject--ghoulish. Happy Halloween 🎃
Yes... the female AI voice is a little better, but still pretty bad. I think it will always bother me. TBF, Scott seems to have gotten rid of the 'valley girl' part of it, but he kept the 'Elizabeth Holmes' wit the vocal fry part. Arg. It's tough going with the AI voices, but I'm going to persevere. I'm not going to pass on a really smart person who is good at his jobs telling me things. ❤
Edit: Nope, the "Valley girl" is still there (like, ya know) 😂
Enjoyed this video!
I'm having trouble reconciling the relentless cheerfulness with the dark subject of body disposal. Am I the only one who is having this reaction?
It’s his enthusiasm for learning, not about crime. I think. 🤔 I hope. 🤞 It could be a nerd thing.
This title is cringey. 😬
No. it's just an intellectually interesting subject/conversation, not an emotional one. It isn't about particular people, or a specific event, so why would emotion come into play? Besides if you are tying to figure out the what, why, and whom of a crime, you are looking for/at factors that can get a person caught...THAT is your focus..NOT about the emotional aspects of the victim(s). It's about the science of psychology. Emotion has no place there, as it clouds your thinking.
@@brightpage1020 Thank you. I was listening to it while I was doing something else and it caught my attention that they sounded really cheerful.
You’re not supposed to reconcile it. Look at it like reading without having to read. Your listening to AI talk to itself while you learn. Don’t take it personally. It’s just zeros and ones.
@@ScottRouseI have to say Scott, you are often reminiscent of Dr Hibbert delivering bad news.
That A.I. is SCARY GOOD 😳
This was fascinating, Scott. Thanks for putting it out there!
Thank you so much for watching!🙂👍
Isn't it an AWFUL idea to put this "out there"?
@@lauramartins5953 how is education on a topic an awful idea?
@@EdgarAllanGo This info is not beneficial nor useful to the common person. Someone interested in doing this may get a few tips from it, though... Maybe that's a bad idea?! 🤦
@@lauramartins5953 bless your heart. Psychopaths are gonna psychopath regardless of what videos, peer-reviewed articles, or documentaries are out there. Watch more of Scott’s videos and you may start to understand that.
Hell, these people are scary dudes! How can anyone move a body. This might sound ridiculous but aren't they worried about getting contaminated with the decaying body? 😫
I know. It’s crazy, right? They’re not worried about getting infected or contaminated or sick or anything else. Creepy.🙂👍
@@ScottRouse and here we are washing our hands several times when cooking particularly fresh chicken! 🤣😂🤣😂
@@ScottRouseI think it's quite predictable really. As psychopaths, they lack the empathy to care what hazards a decaying body might cause to anyone who found it. It's logical, not creepy.....
*shudder* 🫣
@@ScottRouseall (unsettling) jokes aside, the new AI race is a fascinating (and unsettling) place for us all.
I'm an IT complex problem expert whose original passions were literature, society (utopias v. dystopias), and the psychology of human behaviors. Neither of thise two worlds conceived of existing with each other, and... well, here we are.
Ultimately I feel that humanity's big vulnerability to it will be in forgiveness - as in, being nice; extending latitude; failing to question. We're already seeing that with propaganda/influencer stuff with human trolls, and AI can be so much more subtle and consistent...
Interesting times.
Now, about that body...
Interesting stuff! Liked and subscribed!
Yay!!!🙂
For me, it’s the learning/understanding about human behavior - especially deviant behavior. If there weren’t people engaged in this fashion, imagine how many more crimes would go unsolved. I also believe that knowing their social patterns of behavior can guide all of us to be vigilant for the risks that could make us prey to predators.
Dear Scott Rouse, do you agree that psychopathy is one the biggest social problem in the world? Which destroys society from the inside and the fates of other people, who don't know the psychology in most cases. For example, I didn't have this subject at school, despite the fact that I'm from Europe. It is bad idea to integrate this people in society… Most of them are cruel and violent. I lost my emotionality, but my fear decreased after relationships with such people, I'd rather be the same than the person as now
Whaaaat?!?! This title is so creepy and weird. Are there actual patterns?!? Must be a Halloween 🎃 special.
I would have learned and enjoyed it more if you summarized it and told us in your own words. You face, hand gestures and head movements while you talk actually helps us learn better. I turned off the sound and read the transcript on this video.
I am very disappointed. Such an interesting topic, and yet I didn't remember or learn a single thing!
Yeesh. I don’t know what that’s about.
The AI conversation is even worse than an AI monologue. Fake interaction between fake people. Scott, I’d listen to you free associate about the DSM, the latest news from true crime or pop culture or even the body language of the squirrels in your back yard. People are special and have dignity and personality and idiosyncrasies and imperfections. AI sounds so canned. Can’t listen to it. Sorry.
That’s OK. I totally get it. Like I said in the video, it’s not there to entertain you, it’s there to educate you. It’s just AI talking to itself trying to come up with a conversation so you’ll learn something. It’s cringe, but it’s full of information you can use.👍
Oooh, i would love to know more about backyard squirrel body language! Seriously. 🐿
Investigation discovery has made a fortune with shows like this from women.
My husbands family lives in Delphi, Indiana. Weve been hearing about Richard Allen for years and the poor girls. What is your take on him? I cant get my mind around why. Just WHY.
FFS We’re all doomed,

Couldn’t pick up on any in-voice inflictions red flag to any bull-shite
i don't see the whole "bizarreness" or the "fascinating psychological puzzle" thing... the ai mentioned that "external pressures and circumstances" can disrupt an "ultra organized type". and then the "crime after an outburst" is "less planned".... yeah of course. it's all very general.
Read the study if you found that boring. It’s pretty good. 👍
@@ScottRouse no not boring! sorry - i'm too compact in my wording. i tried to express my lack of feeling puzzled.

One could only hope your nose looks small compared to an evergreen tree.
Can pets be psychopaths.
How often do micro expressions occur?
I enjoy this way of summarizing research.😊
I was wondering why i hadn't watched this video yet 🤔 then remembered its because the stupid extremely fake sounding voices 👎🏻
yup, AI.
The female was an insufferable know-it-all, the male was fine.
Neither are real. 😮
@@ScottRouse I realise that, but the male is more agreeable.
@@laurastuart3814 this might say more about you than the fake people 😉
@paulashealthyliving Your comments shows me that you make assumptions.
I agree, the 'savvy female' isnt as on the money, she's too busy illustrating 'savvy femaleness'... Ai needs to expand its repertoire
Who is talking? I thought this was Scott's channel? This sounds like a radio talk show....
I explained it at the beginning. Go back and listen to that. I think you’re gonna be fascinated. And I’m gonna keep doing my regular shows, but I’m doing these to give you more information about the specifics of psychopathy. I hope you like it.🙂👍

Mr Rouse...I don't think the AI is cringy. For me, the sing song modulation of female is actually distracting so far. I have music background so perhaps that is why. WHY did you make this video?
@@lauramartins5953 because it’s real life, our governments hide from us the statistic about crimes and serial killers to make us feel safer and be in another reality, what is much worse than knowing the truth. just look at what psychopaths do with their victims, they don't have empathy and can do a terrible things that will hurt an ordinary person, he will just break down
