I'd never have known who this Joel is unless Trixie brought me to him, and he's the loveliest guy. He's the image of America I like to keep in my mind. Free, articulate, compassionate and a great talker. Great way to start my day, thanks Joel.
He was in a pop punk emo style band called Good Charlotte back in the early 2000’s. I was OBSESSED with them my freshman year of high school (2003). They were one of those bands who were only big for a short time but had a huge impact on the kids of that time. I didn’t know he was doing this now, but I agree he seems like a great conversationalist. I’m excited to listen to more episodes
