at the end of the day trixie is just a lesbian
Aren’t we all ? ❤
No he's not. He's actually very derogatory towards lesbians. Katya is even worse. Since when is it OK for him to use the word dyke? Katya literally screams it angrily a few times on uhnnnn. They are using the lesbians for $$
That’s why we’re here. 🤷♀️🤣
HAHAHA
she really is one of us
Trixie bringing up Chappell on a MUNA podcast is quite literally my multiverse of madness
time stamp please i think i missed it
@@xx_pauli_xx4086 not sure if they mention her another time but i heard it at 1:01:03
@@wogannnnthank you pookie I completely missed it 💔🤍
WHAT.
Chappell Roan gayotic episode is not a want it’s a need
katie sitting on the couch staring at trixie like drew barrymore
exactly what I was thinking
Was she flirting with? 😂
@@Eve-hb yes definitely
The meme of drew Barrymore is so funny but like would anyone who’s popped out children and worked all your life wanna just sit there and nod? Imma be on the floor coloring in a coloring book asking philosophical questions.
this was engineered in a lab for me specifically
RIGHT?!?
love trixie acknowledging that having femme girls as fans does not equal having straight girl fans
What are femme girls?
@@aurwood68 girls who present as femme? Idk what you're getting at here. (I think here Trixie is referring to stereotypically feminine presentation in a visual way rather than behavior but like she doesn't specify what characteristics she considers femme and I'm not interested in gatekeeping that)
I felt so seen
@ArtichokeHunter Try being even more passive aggressive next time. It's a great look.
@@Maialeen it's called confusion. Im just trying to watch an interview in which trixie uses a term, not be baited into gatekeeping someone else's identity or some kind of terfy boxing in of gender. Not the community for that
everybody online doesn't have to look good for you. can't we just enjoy a vid and leave a comment?
trixie explaining "mary" to them was so cute
trixie having a HUGE lesbian fanbase and guesting in GAYOTIC is my kind of roman empire
trixie getting a taste of her own medicine being interrupted every 3 seconds lmao
I’m not familiar with MUNA but this is 100% how lesbian dates go, pop culture, anticapitalism, therapy talk, sharing trauma experiences, discussion of future themes to try out…
What an enlightening podcast! I'm a 62 year old lesbian living in rural upstate NY, and rarely get to interact with younger queer people. I loved hearing everyones' perspectives on such a wide range of topics. Rock on young ones; it's your turn to carry the ball, and based on what I heard today, the future is full of promise. Oh, and I did jot down the names of the books you discussed. TY! 💜
Hey! Im a youngish queer (30) and i don’t drink so finding queer environments is hard for me too but if you’re a reader there’s an app called bookclubs that i’ve found a few queer bookclubs near me that meet virtually AND in person and ive met so many cool people of all ages that way ❤
@@KathieHeartsYouu what a great way to connect! 💞
Love this comment and I loved the podcast too! Could you reply with the book titles please? I didn’t manage to get them down!
@@nikastorr TY! The two that interested me most are When the Body Says No, and The Body Keeps the Score.
@@sherriwineland7247 you should check out alice miller, 'the drama of the gifted child' and 'the body never lies' so instead of reading a white male you read it written (better) by a black woman!
Trixie describing UNhhhh as Beavis and Butthead is so accurate and I never realized.
i gasped when I saw who the guest was, I love this so much
RIGHT
Me too!!
Why does it say you commented 2 days ago but the video was uploaded 1 day ago 😅
@@FriedEggSarnie u can comment before it premieres :3
@@siriwants2cry Omg I'm so slow 😅 Thanks for the reply.
"They are just very hyper femme, because they love drag. So, they almost wear femme looks as like drag or a costume" YESSS!
this is the crossover of the century for me personally. now we need muna on the bald and the beautiful
and a Chappell mention ?? omg
oh they KNOW their audience
trixie mattel kind of girl cover when
your mind is so powerful. Need this.
you are soooo intelligent
PLEASS PLEES
YOUR MIND!!!
when was the last time a youtube comment made me cry this hard
Im a sad gay and I was like “exactly! that’s what I’m saying!!” so many times and then trixie clocked me 😭
i really hope you guys bring chappell roan on as a guest one day 🙏🏻
I’m impressed that Trixie went a whole hour and ten minutes before mentioning Watchmen. 🏆
AS A FEMME LESBIAN WHO'S BEEN A FAN OF TRIXIE AND MUNA EVER SINCE I AM SHITTING MY PANTS RN !!! + trixie mentioning that having femme girls as fans is not the sane as having straight girls as fans SHES SO REAL FOR THIS
“who is mary” 😭😭😭
“my other side is like ‘are the house wives and the vanderpumps keeping us from overthrowing the american government’” is a thought i’ve had every night before bed thank you
someone in MUNA is always in some sort of cast or boot
Now that Chappell’s name has been summoned, you obviously must have her on this podcast immediately. ASAP. STAT. We deserve it. The world deserves it. The world *needs* it!
oh we are so back
So nice of these lesbians giving platform to another rising small town lesbian creator from Wisconsin. I love Tracy Martel 💅
i would’ve listened to 7 hours of this please bring trixie back sometime
This is a big moment for Trisha Martel, but this is a huge moment for Muna.
MUNA not knowing the Donnas is crazy haha
a big win for the lesbians
it took 7mins and 20 seconds for trixie to mention katya 😊😊😊
My schools library had a whiteboard where people could put women who inspired them for women history month and some one put Trixie
Honestly that’s so iconic
"if you've made it to this point in the program you're either very sad, very gay, or both" sis I was just chilling, why'd you have to perceive me like that :") seriously though, it's interesting and comfortable to listen to you all, thank you for- idk it's weird to say thank you for your honesty? because you are still performing in a way. it's refreshing tho and I do get the sense you're trying to be candid about things so, yeah, thanks. :)
I have never been so invested, felt seen, or sent into an existential crisis after watching/listening to a podcast as I was after watching this. Two worlds colliding with Trixie and MUNA. All the love for this. Please have Trixie on again. Also, we need MUNA on an ep of Bald and Beautiful, K? 💖
Love the Jack Halberstam plug! I attended one of his public lectures where he gave a deep dive on the Lego movie…. His use of accessible pop culture to discuss theories of queerness, transness, capitalism, and how certain possibilities are compelled forward or closed off changed everything for me
Trixie, video episode and 95 minutes long!!! This was amazing, I could watch you all talk for hours, so happy that Gayotic is back!
Omg talking about The Body Keeps the Score and trauma responses is ultra lesbian talk 😄 I loved that part of the conversation and what followed after
trixie bringing up the donnas AND chappell i'm SCREAMING
Possibly my favorite Trixie interview/chat ever.
The edits potential from this episode is unreal 😂
Would you guys ever consider inviting Arlo Parks as a guest?
not trixie reading “the body keeps the score” 💀
this whole episode is gonna be my whole personality for the next few weeks
HUGE FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME.
this is my superbowl
so happy you guys had a nuanced conversation about identity with trixie... been wanting to know how she feels about it but most interviewers only ask the most reductive questions if at all :) related to everything said as a fellow mixed person :) great convo, thanks!
Trixie owns This Is It?? We love her! Okay this is major news for little midwesterners
this is so elite and also katie is inspiring me to call people baby more
I actually just gasped. Trixie!!💜
katie calling trixie a little fairy was lethal
I just knew trixie would talk about watchmen
Omg the Donnas!!! Was completely obsessed! They were my favorite, they need to come back
This was great!
First time coming across this channel and Muna.
I paused the episode to take a listen to Munas music. I'm a gay male and I have been going through quite a bit recently, I have to share that once again
Gay magic has saved my life and soul. The song What I want, in particular has reminded me of something I needed to overcome this part of what I am going through. Gay magic has ALWAYS saved me. I am so grateful ❤ thank you. I feel strong again. I feel my strength again. Thank you. I send you all as much good magic and as much love and light as I can conjure. Thank you!❤
sad and gay and watching at work lol. love y’all’s podcast and willingness to get deep and not shy away from tough subjects
i love how clearly articulate and well read they all are while still being so relatable and funny!! this conversation is so affirming on so many levels but also this podcast in general because i love muna omggg. gayotic is just like hanging out with your smart friends and goofing around while also having deep conversations about yourself and the world. loveee
It’s the way I got clocked when trixie said someone is probably doing dishes while listening to the podcast 😭 (sad and gay too! I-)
This is so important to me, I am so ready.
this is actually everything i ❤️ gayotic
I was NOT expecting these two worlds colliding for me and it is making me so happy 🥹
Gagged at them not knowing about The Donna’s 😂
I’m secondhand soothed by them going “oh poor baby” to miss trixie I think she needs to be babied more lmao
OMFG!!!! 🥳 the crossover we didn’t know we needed but is vital for me now
Wow the discussion about straight vs queer media was so fascinating!!
omfg????? 😭 so excited for this
JO LOOKS SO GOOD DAMN
LETS GOOOOOO VISUAL EPS. IM EATING THIS UP
I'm 100% with Trixie on being a 'Gen Z' Millennial, dabbing and all 😅😂
Glad to see this pod and y’all talking about some real issues!!! Addressing settler colonialism, and the situation in Palestine.. we need more celebs talking about this stuff. I am a big Trixie fan but she has been avoiding talking about this issue and it’s disappointing. It’s a genocide currently happening. It’s completely tone deaf to not be addressing it. So thank you
i LOVE all the book recs I get when I watch this ❤
Obsessed w the Jack Halberstam mention
As a gay male, it’s difficult for me to understand why these three women in particular make me question what I thought was uncompromising home-essentiality . Am I crazy or is it giving smoke show ?
Side note: so happy to see Muna & Trixie together 😭
can’t wait 🥹💕🫡
When Trixie said some people are like "thank you" they talked about being, indigenous, palestine, capitlism, queer shit, aging, like omg can we be friends. I never have watched or heard of this band but now I am in love with Katie she has my heart. Apple music here i come.
Oh I will be tuning in!!
Also I TOTALLY agree about not wanting or thinking it's erotic about being someone's first time.
Loved this episode, love when u guys make connections to Palestine ❤
Wow! tg Gayotic is BACK & Better than Ever!
this made me go and look at older music videos... The in my way video is beautiful, funny, simple.
this podcast is the highlight of my life i think
oh we are sooooo back i can’t wait
can't wait!!!
"autoimmune stuff that made it hard to sing"
FLETCHERRRR?
Searched the comments to see if anyone else picked up on that 😂
this is my favorite video on the internet
this was so entertaining!
New comfort video!!!
Love Trixie, Love MUNA. This is great. Can we get like 12 more hours of this
Free Palestine 🇵🇸 ❤
I feel like this was made for me, but so many of us do! That says a lot. 😍😍😍
Im glad i can add this back into my podcast rotation. I was worried gayotic got canceled or something. Love the music and the podcast
Missed the "I love yous" at the end
Here for my gal Trixie and because i love my lesbianic sisters 😊
EMDR quite literally saved my life
this is the first video of yours that I've come across. An immediate subscriber!
I fucking enjoyed this so much. I could listen for hours honestly
As a lesbian EMDR therapist who had to read The Body Keeps the Score twice in grad school, I felt seen by this episode 😂😂
a sad gay over here!! ✋🏻
Whaaaaaaaat so excited
no way????? this is awesome
hadddd to rewatch
