This was a great performance Loose, languid and sensational. The Stones aren’t based on melody more the rhythm and the riff. They don’t have to emulate the pre recorded version exactly. The studio version of Midnight Rambler is incredible and so is this live version
"Midnight Rambler" was inspired at the time by a Serial Rapist/ murderer infamously known as "The Boston Strangler". I'm a fan of the Stones for the last 50 years, seen them LIVE 9 Times. But I've never seen this version from The Marquee Club, a venue they've been playing since 1962...same year I was born!✌🍁✌
Born the same year as you. I’ve been to 31 Stones between 1978-2021. If you think this version is killer (which it is) listen to the version off the Brussels Affair CD.
You picked a GOOD one! "Split the time the cock crows!" Mick was such a rascal. Love the Stones. Also please do Can't You Hear Me Knocking (from their album Sticky Fingers).
Git some young Lady lol. The-Not-So-Sober" Years.Guitarist Brian Jones passed in '69,Mick Taylor took his place soon after. Heroin and Cocaine ruled the day ;-). Taylor's a "babe in the woods" When he entered their debauchery. And they always come out on top....
Great pick!!! Never seen this one before! You're now in the Hall of Fame. See Beautiful, The Stones aren't a band, they're a JAM. and everybody's got to go. ps. First time on your channel, you just got my vote. Subscribe...Cha ching!!
It makes me sick how much talent these guys have. That's why I have lost count of the many times I have seen them live. One scratching clawing riff after another. It like sex almost !
@@jessicamariepresents6490 I will come back and you keep up the good work. Listen to "Let it loose" from the Exile on main Street album. They write almost everything they sing.
I really recommend “time waits for no one” by the stones. It has a really great message in it about not wasting time in your life. It’s one of my favorite songs of all time. A masterpiece.
Hey J. You need a few more Stones things to review. First something from the early Brian Jones years (the blonde dudewho put it all together) ua-cam.com/video/sIRXPjIALJM/v-deo.html. Something more recent. ua-cam.com/video/kSpGnZmGWBk/v-deo.html Between the 2 is 56 years (1964 to 2020). Talk about relevance. Always good to see fellow Stones fans. Peace
Good version , but still wondering why nobody reacts to Get Yer Ya Ya 's out . Only one of the best Live albums in rock history. With the definitive version of this song imo. smh.
Wow!, This was Mick and the Stones at their finest and rawest. Mick’s charisma is incredible, and the riffs are unforgettable
Yeah!!!!
Nothing like The Rolling Stones!! They are incredible!
Wow, that is why i love the Stones, thank you for the flash back.
This was a great performance

The studio version of Midnight Rambler is incredible and so is this live version
Best Rythm and Blues pub band ever.
Been to 31 Stones’ show. This is still one of the highlights of any Rolling Stone’s show.
Best live performance on UA-cam of The Rolling Stones.
I wish there were more live performances recorded of the rolling stones. People are missing out. Always entertaining.
first time I heard The Rolling Stones do this was at The Spectrum in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in 1972 had a balcony seat right over him !
Midnight Rambler is the best live song ever

Mick Taylor .... best damn guitarist the Stones ever had ..... they never sounded better
They should have begged him to stay. Always a fan but their music was never the same after he left
MT is the GOAT ! Period ! 😎🎸👍🏻

I was beaten up outside this club 4 years later ... By my brother. So, not my favourite rock venue. ;)
