At this point they need to give Trooper Byrd a golden Hellcat with the push bars for all the successful pits 😂
That first PIT should be in text books. Caught up quick, did the PIT quick without hesitation, into the perfect spot where the PIT would only affect the criminal, and into a spot where they couldn't easily drive out. I understand some of that was fortunate circumstance but the reality is those women were lucky. The rest of the video shows what can happen when you run. #8 and #6 were badass as well. And then there's Byrd. He's next level.
He minimized damage perfectly!

That PIT at 9:50 was so gentle, it should be called a PET.
The editing (fast forwarding the repetitive parts) and the presentation on this channel are some of the best... but could you include the arrest and charging/sentencing info for each segment if you have it?
i think its more to highlight the adrenaline rush of the situations, without the slowdown lull of talking ab sentencing
The best part is, insurance does not cover damage to these vehicles. And really, the suspects should pay restitution for damages to the police cars.
The last pit was 3 or 4 rotations and an engine fire for extra points. 13 out of 10 points.
I've watched a lot of these for awhile now, and the last one show during this vid is the most epic - the multiple rollovers at the end secured the prize.
I know i just messed up and destroyed my vehicle but can I have a cigarette 😂😂

#8 - The man, the myth, the legend, the Byrd. Probably one of the gentlest, sweetest little PITs that PIT master has ever cooked up. The thing with Trooper Byrd when he pits is that they're almost never violent. Just a gentle little Boop of Justice but he stays with it until he knows the car isn't going to be able to recover. I doubt he even scratched the pushbar, much less the paint on his bumper.

That's how all chases should be handled. As soon as the speed and location are reasonably safe, a TVI can end the pursuit quickly.

Well, I would say ASP cares about to stop a threat to other street users and they do this often with a TVI, when the perp flees... And to be correct, this was not Garrett Byrd, who did the TVI, as the narrator said, this was Jacob Byrd (just look at the Film, man) Garrett is the younger brother of Jacob, who was on place too - they did together the Trooper school in 2020. Please be correct with your information in a country full of fakes news 😉
