- Trp. T. Evans (D-29) intercepts an Aggravated Robbery suspect being chased by West Memphis PD on Interstate 55 & Bridgeport Road (Crittenden County). The suspect allegedly robbed the West Memphis Fresh Market, and stolen the security officers' gun before fleeing.

He robbed a store in Tennessee, then went into Arkansas and robbed a bank, and thought that bridge would save him when he crossed back over into Tennessee where they don't allow pursuits.

@@MikeHiLo no, just serious enough to ignore what Tennessee has to say I guess lol. Last year a trooper was chasing someone and the perp shot the trooper and the trooper continued to chase him into Tennessee and then tvi him and shot him(to get even lol) and was awarded trooper of the year for it
Outstanding pursuit in very close quarters. That bobtail tractor was the main element in the termination of the chase. Excellent job by Trooper Evans. STAY SAFE OUT THERE TROOPERS AND all LEOS.

The video description needs a bit of update. According to the news article, the suspect stole the car on a prior date at a Fresh Market that's located in Memphis (not West Memphis). Then on the day of the chase, he robbed Evolve Bank and Trust that is located in West Memphis. The rest of the story is basically what we see in the video.
That makes it all more clear.

It takes a while but eventually you can understand it if you listen enough. You'll have the same kind of effect if you were listening in on a large construction project that uses two way radios.
