GREAT show last night. Dweezil is a virtuoso. Scheila's sax solo was phenomenal. Cian handled Beefheart. They are all just fantastic. Thanks for posting this.
The most underrated piece of genius by Zappa, so very decently played by Dweezil on stage. I’m gonna ask to some channel to come up with an analysis of this masterpiece. Being a fan of Frank, I always loved this album, maybe my favorite one, but it took me 40+ years to understand this is a hidden gem, as Dweezil states it
Hey Dweezil, having missed your Australian shows thanks to Covid, it was a real treat to hear "It must e A Camel" - for me, a stand out track from Frank's "Hot Rats". More power to your guitar hand - your head and heart are already in the right place!
This is such an awesome -- and, dare I say, beautiful -- song(!) Like many (most?) of FZ's songs, it took time for me to get past some of the dissonant chords. And it was probably the last one on Hot Rats that I came to appreciate. Whenever I listen to the whole HR album, however, I find myself looking forward to this gem at the end and asking myself the same question Dweezil does in the video: how did Frank come up with this??
Sheila Gonzalez - Keys, Sax, Flute: Kurt Morgan - Bass: Ryan Brown - Drums: Chris Norton - Keys: Adam Minkoff - Guitar, Keys, Percussion & Dweezil Zappa - Guitar, Leader
One of my favorite ZAPPA songs. Thank you Dweezil.
This happens to be my favorite tune from Hot Rats.
It’s got so much going on and yet it all works out so beautifully.

My favorite off of Hot Rats as well. Thanks so much for sharing this.

Listen to this, and you can really hear where early Henry Cow were coming from - it almost sounds like an outtake from LegEnd.
Always loved this tune.

Would have been a good one for the '88 band.
This is THE best Zappa recording. Too bad this clip has such bad sound... and about this band's on stage presence----- hmmmmmmmmm.
Be nice to know who's playing what ...
