Now this is what I call relaxing, not those weird ASMR videos. Great one!

Gain and Dawn are both manufactured by the same company... Proctor and Gamble. Both dish soaps use the same ingredients minus fragrance and colorants.

Gain, the light blue liquid, smells so great! It has bleach alternative inside it. Does a fine job. I wish the video woulda featured Ajax Lime & Vinegar. Wondering if the mixture does a better job than other dish soaps.

I’d love to see this test with a greasy plastic container that had minced onions in it. Gain is advertising A LOT right now for some reason. I actually thought it was a brand new dish soap to compete with Dawn. I didn’t realize it’s been around for several years 🤦‍♂️
Thanks for taking the time to shoot this video.

Palm olive doesn't dry your hands out as bad as the others. Ajax takes more, but it cleans well. Ajax will strip the skin of your hands. I love yo mop the floor with Ajax.

Don't have time to watch the video? Here are the results:
Dawn and Gain were the 2 most expensive but effective ones. Palmolive was a little less effective and a lot cheaper but not that much. Ajax was the loser it is best for low budget and still cleans well you just need to use more of it to clean good enough without leaving food residue

Glass is the best telling of how well you cleaned, I find. It's a blessing and a curse though because if you didn't clean it right, it shows. Yet you *do want* it to be clean.

Good video! I am conducting ongoing tests to see if there is any real difference amongst dish soaps. For me, it's not only about the cleaning power but the scent. If a dish liquid stinks, I don't want to wash dishes. So far my favorite soap is Amway Dish drops for cleaning power, smell, and gentleness to hands. Dawn would be second, but I really hate the smell personally, so I've got to give second place to AJAX. Like you said, you've just gotta use more. I would be very interested to see another showdown video. Maybe you could compare Joy, Dawn Platinum, Palmolive Oxy and Amway Dish Drops. There's enough dish soaps out there your could probably get another two or three videos out it, and I for one would enjoy it!

As someone from a low income family, i grew up with Ajax specifically the orange scented one. My family now uses Dawn which i think is too much. But in my opinion any dish soap is good. The only dish soap i dislike is the one corporate send to my job 🤣🤣🤣. Like that soap bath makes any foam and the water doesn't feel soapy. Which i don't like.
I used Great value when I was working at another restaurant and i think that one dried the life out of my hands.

I am waiting for Scrubbing Bubbles to come out with a dish detergent. Can you imagine, putting a little detergent in a sink full of dishes, and waiting 20 minutes or so, and they are pretty much clean inside? The detergent actually lifted all of the gunk off the dishes. All you then need to do is rinse!

Dawn changed their grease cutting formula awhile ago and it no longer cuts through grease. Has anyone found a replacement?

Suds have nothing to do with how clean it is. There's an additive put into soaps just to show that you're agitating it. I would have liked to have seen a timer while using each product and also I would have liked them to have been measured.

That Ajax is rough. lol. I use Dawn because they use it on Ducks so..and you can bathe your dog in it so I figure that it won't break me out. I know that Ajax is something serious..want your hands to break out..use that! But I can tell you that until my husband said one day "I TOLD YOU DAWN!"..I didn't make the connection so much of Dawn being the best and better for skin...but it went through my mind right away that Dawn is supposedly what they use for ducks in oil spills..and I felt really stupid for ever buying another brand. I've learned over the years not to go with the cheap stuff just simply because of skin allergies.

Hopefully, the size of the blue Dawn doesn't shrink to 431mL, as they did with some of their products (with Oxi, etc.), as it has shrunk already from 532 mL to the current 473 mL.

Were you sitting on a chair in the intro? Is your countertop just really high? But then the sink appears to be a average height, what is this house you live in?
Edit: Don't mind me, I got to the section where you give your review of the cleaning action of each soap. It was the chair. 5:40 until the end of the video is very informative, and for two reasons that I wont discuss here, I was very focused on your presentation.
