I think, the fact that moons eventually came back after two years means that they were not destroyed and still could influence the kittens appearance although the cat people couldn't see the moons
@joe mcnoe If you knew the lore and understood that elder scrolls lore is not set in stone than you would not have said. Want to be lore masters are always the ones that know of the lore less.
@joe mcnoe the are some small mistakes in some dialogs and things like books from the future But nothing huge. ESO staff try to communicate with lore guys from bethesda and, unlike you i guess, try to read and learn the lore
What if the “journey to the moon” is a metaphor for the mane canidits attempting to achieve Chim? That would explain why only one returns and why they become enlightened. The others disappear from existence as they do not maintain individualality when viewing the tower.
That may be true, but it being a LITERAL trip to the moons isn’t out of the question. Spaceflight is absolutely a thing in TES, hell, in their hayday even the Argonians had spacecraft (also the most powerful weapons ever built, but that’s off-topic). It’s mostly Lost-Technology by the time of the games, but it proves it’s possible.
I do believe the Khajit’s “journey to the moons” speaks of a spiritual quest similar to native Americans taking Ayahuasca, I believe they took some form of moon sugar which induced a meditative/hallucinogenic state that also poisoned the body(like the bad effects of skooma), in which usually only one member survived the ordeal and became the next spiritual leader. The point of all this being to speak with the gods.

I hope this clears somethings up.
They need a single player elder scrolls that encompasses the entire map with extreme detail and unique/accurate creatures. They could also include the other continents and planes of existence for extra brownie points. Imagine an entire game where you got a feel for the whole world in one time period. If there are bipedal intelligent Suthay, Cathay, Omhes and quadrupeds, unable to speak and make things (because of paws) Senche, Alfiq, Pahmar and others in one family... I mean, how they teach their children? For example, Alfiq can't talk and so they can't teach their Suthay children, and Suthay can't teach Alfiq, because they can't talk and have only paws, not hands to make things. Most of the country should not even be tribes, rather more like cavemen, but worse without continuity of generations... Rising of khajiits is an accident, to rise they needed to breed often in hope that Suthay, Cathay or Omhes would be born, and parents could teach their children. Until they found out what each phase of the Moons is doing, and then the whole variety of khajiits will disappear (except for those who live in jungles, not in towns), because "Why you need to give birth to a cat-like Alfiq, if you really can plan 6,5 ft (2 m) strong anthropomorphic Cathay-raht!?"

I find ES easier to get into ... but, saying it puts it to shame is ridiculous. Tolkien was first, and had little to draw on to build a world from, furthermore, there was less time/man power put into his work than ES. Comparing the two is like saying modern airplanes put the Wright brothers to shame. Sure modern airplanes are cooler and more advance... but let's get real here... the Wight brother's accomplishment will always be more impressive, because they were the first and had only limited resources and a dream.
I'm not sure what your sources are for the breeds of khajiit, but it appears that you just looked at some Legends cards. Because according to actual lore, the Pahmar are quadrupeds similar to the Senche, and the Dagi, while relatively unknown, are thought to be small tree dwelling quadrupeds. In addition your silhouette of a Tojay depicts a quadruped but they are bipeds that live in the southern jungles. And your whole Ohmes being connected to the altmer thing sounds as if to have come entierly from one line of some book or dialogue interaction, and it really makes no sense and is completely implausible for the reasons you stated, not a 'maybe'. Then finally when you get to the kingdoms of Anequina and Pellatine, you claim they are the only 2, when this is untrue. They are by far the two largest, but some independent city states still exist (for example the eastern city of Rimmen which has some very interesting lore which involves the Akaviri should you want to look it up).

Where are all the best-selling novels and blockbuster movies!? The lore of ES almost puts Tolkien’s world to shame
Without Tolkien there is a high chance The Elder Scrolls would not exist.
Uh, nuh uh. J.R.R Tolkien is the ORIGINAL. ( Just My Opinion )
Thank you for your awesome work🤩this is the best elder scrolls lore series on youtube
M'aiq is tired now...

There’s a species of cat named dagi
Edit:I got autocorrected to “dating”
I really like the Khajiit's lore. It's a great origin story.
They are by far the two largest, but some independent city states still exist (for example the eastern city of Rimmen which has some very interesting lore which involves the Akaviri should you want to look it up).
we cannot blame fully for a Non-Khajiit's lack of knowledge on a Culture they were not raised
Mm yes brother. Non-Khajiit know nothing about our kind.
Who the fuck cares it’s cat people in a fictional game
Noctis Gaming don’t get me wrong I love the game but it seems crazy to me that someone could get so mad over this
I think there is an Alfiq in TESO who is able to speak. She is a character in one of the major side quests of the Elsweyr expansion.
