Hi. Thank you for sharing. I have 2 questions: 1.don't you think that 37.7 is not too high during lock-down ? 2. What are the T and humidity do you use for incubating ? Thank you so much again.
I have the range set between 37.5 and 37.8 during the incubation including lockdown. The eggs are slightly lower in the incubator during lockdown so its possible they are a fraction cooler. The humidity I don't worry too much about during the first 14 days, I like to see it anywhere between 25 to 55% (I don't add water), in the last few days I bring it up into the 80% plus range if possible.
For chicks up to about 10 weeks old - Game bird starter (approx 28% protein), for layers and roosters older than 10 weeks a gamebird maintenance or layer food lower protein more fibre is better and cheaper. You can build a feeder, I have another film on that or you can buy some plastic feeders from a pet store.
Not sure on the name, its a generic brand. I think I purchased it through Kogan. They are not expensive and they get the job done for a while at least.
it was a very nice vlog to watch
