Nearly two years ago I started keeping quail. At first, it was not much more than a hobby, until word started to get around. I sold eggs initially and started to incubate to produce more birds. I was somewhat successful. I also build my own cages. Well, one thing led to another and now I sell cages, live birds, butchered birds and eggs. I live in Thailand and I am about to start supplying butchered quail to a customer in Bangkok on a regular basis. I have an appointment with a lawyer in order to register a company for my quail farming enterprise. I have not even made any real attempt at marketing yet things seem to have taken off for me. Make no mistake, quail farming is a serious business.

for the feeds there are plenty here in our local suppliers. You're on the right track. Housing and other needs like the waterers are so important.

Your quails are way over populated, they are all missing so many feathers, no wonder you only get 70% laying per day. At least give them .5sqft per bird.. I can’t be the first to suggest this.

Its sad that animals have to endure cramped and sometimes miserable conditions so that humans can make a profit. Consuming an animal that lived a happy life is much healthier than consuming an animal that was miserable.
