Great video, I have never changed a garage torsion spring but watching your video gave me the step by step know how. I successfully accomplished the task of changing both springs in about an hour and a half going really slow. I probably could of done it in an hour but I chose to watch the step by step video in between each step ensuring that I made no mistakes. The tip with using the file was spot on because I ran in to the issue with the large pole that holds the springs sliding back and forth. Thanks to having the metal file handy, I was able to shave it down and have it move freely. Again, great video and thank you for taking the time to help out the diy community.

I pulled out my torsion bars and your video took me from totally forgetting to getting it right on the first try. Thanks for keeping the full replacement directions on point and still give good tips, especially on the warning with dangerous locations in the work zone. I just replaced my kid brothers broken garage door torsion spring at his home. It was easy. I just watched the video a few times, Made some notes. No problem. But you do need to be careful working with those springs. All you need is some basic tool's. I did very good doing it the first time. Everything works great no problems. This video was very very helpful . Thank you. It save my brother a lot of money. Know he owes me a dinner. Thanks again.

Thank you for the video. It was so well made I was able to order the spring from you guys, and installed it in about 1 hour going extra slow. I did have take the tension back to 28 from 31 For my door. I am now confident that I can do it again.

This helped me every step of the way. Did not want to pay someone and take off work. Took it apart, ordered parts, installed after work. All done and working.

Really professional, well-done instructional video. Everything I needed to know, and nothing extra. Anyone posting a how-to video should take a look at this one first. This is how it's done. No extraneous info. Just clear steps and safety tips. Because I was grateful for the effort you put into this video, I ordered my spring from your company. It came quickly, even though it was a non-standard length (and it was Christmas-time!). I followed your instructions and it went on without a hitch. Thanks!!

Thank you so much for this video. I followed your suggestions precisely completed the replacement in about a hour. Everything went perfectly. Side note, I had to order the springs from Express Garage Door and that went exactly as it was supposed. Great experience.

Ordered the springs/bars and received it in 2 days. Watched your videos a couple of times before attempting. Followed your instructions to a T. Happy to say the work is done and all body parts remain intact. Saved $250 doing the work myself. Thank you for the video!

Great video. Changed mine out with no issues thanks to your video. Local places wanted 275-$300 for a single spring on a residential door. I did it for $40. About an hours time.

This video is done incredibly well. At the beginning of this video i had no clue how to repair my garage door. I followed it step by step by pausing the video. I completed the repair first try. I now know how the door is supposed to sound when in proper working condition. Thank you so much!

My husband and I just fixed our 8ft garage door spring and did 35 quarter turns but the door wouldn’t close. We loosened it to 31 turns and it worked. We just saved a lot of
    money. Thank you so much!!!
