I loved this one!!! I wish all your videos were this long.
Thanks for watching, Jayde! Glad to know you like a longer video :)
i choose this over superbowl every day,.. you rule
Thanks, Jena! :)
The quality of the custom textiles made for the dolls really blows me away. I’m so glad Kirsten was in this one, she’s my favorite ❤️
Yes, so nice to see her up close!! 🌾
Josephina is my favourite all round but Samantha’s birthday party just looked like a dream when I was younger haha. Plus the ice cream machine really really works!!!
Ha!!! I'd sure like to see what the teaspoon of ice cream that comes out of that thing looks like.
All of the Pleasant Company catalogs have the same pages of collections for each historical character that had been introduced before the catalog. The differences in Pleasant Company catalogs has to do with children’s clothing, the Girl of Today collections (after 1995), Bitty Baby, Angelina Ballerina, etc.
I have Josefina’s and her whole collection. When I called to place a Josefina order, a customer service representative at AG told me that the piano would soon be retired, so I bought it.
The piano does play. However, it has the number of keys and the sound of a toy piano. Later pianos have the piano recorded sound and more keys.
El Rancho de Las Golondrinas is a living history museum 15 miles south of Santa Fe. It was used for both the research and illustrations in Josefina’s original stories. It is open for visitors June-October.
OMG love the intro ❤👧
I love these videos sm I just discovered them and am a new subscriber! Out of curiosity I checked the scenes and settings for ag dolls on eBay and they’re literally almost 200 dollars. K razy.
Welcome to the channel, Jasmine! Discontinued AG products are the smart investments we should all be making.
Every time I watch one of these AG catalogue flip-throughs, I notice more stuff… I had a Molly doll and several of her playsets (Christmas, summer camp, etc.) including her birthday set with the drop-leaf table and everything, and it did not include a bike at the time my family ordered it. The bike must have been added later. There’s nothing about her riding a bike in Happy Birthday, Molly, though there is a plot point about roller skates.
As a side note, Josefina was introduced around the time my interest in dolls started to fade, so I never took a serious look at her collection. But hot damn, that “learns a lesson” outfit is AMAZING! The UA-camr DarlingDollz (don’t know if you ever watch his videos) mentioned that his favorite part of Josefina’s collection was all the miniatures of tasty-looking foods, and now I see what he meant!
OF COURSE I watch DarlingDollz! He's right, Josefina knows how to eat well.
@@ColeChickering Josefina knows how to eat well, except for the raw onions in her lunch, LOL.

I wish they made the doll items like they used to. It was so much nicer back in the day than it is now.
Edit: yes!! There were actual sets for Addy, Felicity, and i believe Kirstin where the girls could use the items for needle point, knitting, etc for their dolls
Edit: funfact, they did have a special tea time and Felicity play in Williamsburg sometimes arlund then. You could get special edition Felicity items for your doll and girl exclusive to the event.
Edit: the scenes and settings books are really great! Especially if you have some of the furniture, like mollys kitchen table, you could put her kitchen tabke in her "kitchen" in the scenes book and its like you have a whole set to play! A l9t of people do that for their doll houses :)
Another fun fact, if you have an original catalog from 1995 release of the girls of today you can see the original #6 in the catalog, she is the #1 rarest American girl doll because she was changed two years later to the blonde haired #6
Woah, thanks for all the interesting info, Chy Chy!
that computer at the end of the catalouge i was like "hm that site looks familiar. but i wasnt in school until 2009 so it wouldnt make sense" BUT NO: my school used a lot of old tech and the site on it looks like the site for MAP testing. anyways im gonna go be sad because map testing sucked
edit: also the quality of these fits are unmatched. ((the red vinyl skirt thing is something id make and wear today))
Woah, how crazy that you recognized that computer program!
A agree on that vinyl skirt item - bold and beautiful.
