Do you have any experience working with someone TTC and breastfeeding a 3year old maybe 2-3 times in a 24 he period.
So getting periods, day 18/19 ovulation, 26/27 day cycle. No PCOS or similar issues. No pill, healthy balances diet, taken herbal things including vitex and wild yam. 34yrs old, have had 3 pregnancies in the past.
Any advice would be appreciated! Have not been able to find anything after tons of research.

my daughter is 18 months tomorrow. We nurse for naps and at night and during the day when she is teething. I JUST found out i'm pregnant, but luckily my cycles were regular when they returned a few months postpartum. We weren't TTC, but i was charting again because i wanted to conceive in December lol i honestly did not think i caught ovulation. i was pretty sure it had already happened. guess i was wrong 😅

Very interesting video! Not really for me, because I don't nurse anymore and I don't plan on a second, but still super interesting! I always thought babies had to loose some weight and that there was no way to prevent it. I also thought that you had to stop breastfeeding once your pregnant again. Would you say it’s safe to nurse throughout entire nine months? I usually nurse for the first three months cause it helps me lessen the nausea. I would love a video on explaining why the nursing helps me feel less nauseous. Lol. I’m doing it cause it helps but would love to understand more. I don’t know why but my midwife didn’t recommend that I should nurse past 3-4 months. Claiming that it’s not ideal. I would love to hear more about this and it’s safety so I can show my midwife your video. My wish is to nurse my 2 yr old tog with newborn! Thanks and I really enjoy your insightful videos. Keep them coming!

I exclusively breast fed for 7 months, then started combi feeding. We was trying from 7 months and I got pregnant when my little one was 9 months. I carried on breastfeeding her until she was 12 months.
For us it’s the perfect time, some people don’t get the option to pick and choose when the ‘right’ time is to have number 2, our first was through IVF and we faced the idea and never having our own children, so this child is a complete blessing along with our first. There is never a perfect time for anything. Go with your instincts mamas xxx

So interesting. My first is 17 months and we really want another but she was conceived after my first round of clomid (after I tried a lot of natural remedies) , unfortunately charting never really worked for me, even the month I was pregnant! My daughter is still nursing so frequently but I’m definitely not comfortable taking clomid while she is and she is a long way off weaning. I’m feeling a bit sad and frustrated by it as I don’t want to force her to wean just for another.

I can imagine you're in a limbo. Saying goodbye to that nursing relationship is something you need to time when you feel ready for it. I'd definitely explore tailored homeopathic treatment though for you! There is a difference between trying natural remedies to ovulate and someone that has properly gotten into your case and discover why you aren't ovulating. Is that why charting hasn't been any help before for you? Because you don't ovulate at all?

Maybe my life is too stressful, as I am working self employed. I am 37, should have started early with trying. 😕 I really don’t want to stop breastfeeding, as long as my son wants it.

@@dominiquefrancine8933 I feel like breastfeeding is really good at balancing blood sugar and having excellent stability (not spiking or dropping)of blood glucose is really good for reproduction, specifically ovarian health. That aspect of breastfeeding may have allowed you to hyperovulate. In spite of breastfeeding supposedly lowering one's fertility, I never ceased my periods/ovulation while breastfeeding exclusively, co- sleeping and not supplementing, and pumping very minimally. My lac consultant was baffled as to why my period came back so quickly after birth and said I had a hormonal imbalance but I think my body appreciates/ needs proper blood glucose balance to improve fertility whereas some women may not need it.

I never realized you could still breastfeed an older baby after giving birth! I’ve been scared of getting pregnant with baby #2 because I don’t want to stop breastfeeding baby #1 (13mo). One thing I just found out is that during breastfeeding your luteal phase can also actually be much longer than it used to be before conceiving your baby! When I first got my period back while breastfeeding, my LP was it's normal 12-13 days. Then when my baby was 9 months my luteal phase suddenly jumped to 16 days long! I was so freaked out the first two cycles it did that because I was charting and knew it was extremely unlikely I was pregnant, but my period was 3 days late! Then I found out from other ladies that so many things can change about your cycles after you have a baby.

    • @FertilityHomeopath

Thank you for this (and all of your other video(s)! My youngest is 19 months old. He's still nursing and my cycles haven't returned yet. I'm very impatient for them to return because my husband and I would like to ttc #4. After baby one my cycle returned at 11 months and after baby two it came at 17 months. I was still nursing when I conceived each time and I'm hoping to be able to keep on nursing him to two years and still conceive soon. Their age gaps are 2.5 years and 2.25 years so I'd love to conceive again with that time frame. My naturopath recommended I take a homeopathic hormone combination and maca intrinsic tincture. I'm hoping that using those and taking your recommendations to be more intentional about better sleep and stress management habits will help us on our ttc journey!

Took longer to conceive,( 6 mos,) then when I didn’t use it with my baby at 41. I’ve definitely considered it again. I had my cycle over a month ago and have had bleeding / spotting on and off since. This is normal for me but very frustrating. I’m also having sleep disturbances. Hoping it’s not too late for me to have 1 more. I’ll be 46 in October. Is there a link to the module? I have tried charting since finding your channel back in Jan. I find I wake constantly all night in anticipation of taking my temp. I’ve had to take a break from it so that I can get some sleep. Last night was cycle day 13 and I suspect ovulation is imminent so I tried to temp to see if I could catch the rise… I woke at 12:30am temp was 36.37, I woke at 3:30 temp was 35.97 I woke at 6:30 temp was 36.45. It’s just impossible to get accurate temps I find.
Anyway, I have fallen pregant twice this year but both resulted in miscarriage unfortunately. I’ve also had a couple of months break from ttc after my last miscarriage. I’m now back to trying but funnily enough I am trying to stop charting, stop the prenatal vitals (they mucked up my cycle and cussed side aches)
Now I’m just trying to ‘let go and let god’ and just stick to my healthy eating. No processed foods. Daily meditations. And trying my best to detach from actually ‘trying’. I will come back and let you know if I was successful.
    No more charting for me.

During the ttc of my second baby I took tests to find my ovulation days.. since I was just off birth control I guess maybe I don't get it this first cycle. So I stop taking tests and just waited for my first real period. But my period never came. It was odd. I decided to restart my ovulation test again assuming I'm in my second cycle... Then the LH test were a blazing positive which makes me more confused. But then after 3 days I finally test for pregnancy and it was positive. I guess my ovulation days was a lot later without me realizing it. It could be because I was just off birth control or because I'm still breastfeeding my child at the time.

My period went back a year ago but I dont have knowing when my fertile window is. Has been diagnosed with PCOS. I was prescribed with provera to induce my period and clomid to help me increase my ovulation. My first cycle was unsuccessful my thought was because I am breastfeeding. I tried to cut back on feeding but we went through a lot this cycle hence, unlimited feeding again. Is there anyway I can get pregnant while breastfeeding? Is this possible while I have PCOS and taking meds to increase ovulation?

But that's when one of the girls wakes up and cries for me to feed or to hold. I would not make her wait while i lay taking temperature for several minutes. Plus this delay would make her wake up the sister. Maybe I don't see smth obvious 😊 I already had 1 period without weaning, would like to know when ovulation happens. • @FertilityHomeopath
      @FertilityHomeopath  9 місяців тому

Both I think. Sometimes we just need to have more patience for our bodies to balance out. Pregnancy and post partum are a major blow to our hormone system! But we can also do things that help us rebalance within the limits of motherhood. We may not be able to get unbroken nights but we can choose to take a nap when we would rather send out an email or vacuum the floor. We can prioritize our food intake (I confess I am the worst with this) and we can detox labor drugs or contraceptives and plastics even while we continue to nurse.

Is there really a risk for miscarriage to breastfeed while pregnant? I have a 7 month old and I am now 9 weeks pregnant. I wanted to breastfeed until he turned 1 minimum and use stored milk until baby #2 arrives. I have heard it to be a risk but my ob didnt really seem to worry about it.

I doubt it. It's only a risk if you produce too little progesterone but then you'd miscarry quite early on usually. You seem to be doing great at 9 weeks! Maybe get progesterone tested just in case to give you peace of mind?

Thank you for the free course- just started temping while breastfeeding this month. I have seen elsewhere that you need to test temp at same time each day or after about 4hrs of sleep. With a toddler sleeping in same room setting an alarm will wake them so I guess is an hour or two variation going to impact readings? Thanks

Also you mentioned sleep impacts the progesterone levels does this impact more than the frequency of suckling as I always thought that was the cause of breastfeeding inhibiting pregnancy or is that just inhibiting follicles from maturing? Thanks

What a blessing! I would love to tandem breastfeed, but I have such low milk production, even with exclusive breastfeeding... I tried everything I could do about it, and at 10 months postpartum, I am fighting for the milk don't dry out completely, even feeding or pumping every 3h... 😔

I'm so sorry lovely, that is tough. I have to admit that I work really hard to keep my levels up, there are days I barely can get anything out to pump but at least have my daughter covered. I know there is a lot of discussion on Fenugreek tea, but I drink that when my supply drops and that really helps. Also if I really need help, Urtica Urens 6c twice a day as homeopathic remedy. If that isn't enough, Lac Defloratum 30c once a day. There are more remedies possible, but this is the one I feel comfortable sharing without knowing your case.

@@FertilityHomeopath thank you so much! I have tried all those in the first weeks postpartum. Maybe I should try the remedies again also for this stage. 😉
I really would like to have proper treatment on that in the future but I have no fertility issues. Would you have time for a case like mine or could indicate someone? 😁

@Fertility Homeopath so I am still breastfeeding, and I, in fact, did ovulate. Would breastfeeding interfere with implantation? Thank you so much!

I've been nursing my third child for 29 months and just got a very surprising BFP and I have not had a cycle since I got pregnant in January of 2020. 😮❤🤱

This is very encouraging. I've been nursing and only had a first period - one irregular long period, since having my daughter and then nothing. I am wanting to try to have my second child and am glad to hear conception is still a possibility. Thank you for sharing!😁🖤

I am 39 and took a while to conceive my now 4 month old while managing PCOS and
miscarriage. It’s been suggested to have my second child sooner than later. How do I know if I need to stop breastfeeding to ovulate and have hormones balanced enough to conceive again.
I really want to breastfeed for a long as possible but also want to catch the so called fertile window after pregnancy when you’re more likely to conceive.

Ugh... the pressure right? It's so hard to stay in your bubble and trust your gut. That's the best I can recommend to you. Here's a question that isn't necessarily pleasant, but I think it might help you decide. If your 4 month old, would be the only child you'd ever have, how long would you continue to nurse? Would you regret stopping earlier than that knowing you had tried what you could to conceive a sibling? How much earlier would it be ok for you to stop nursing than your ideal if you ended up not having the sibling?
Other than that. Let me add that any professional pushing you to start trying sooner than 1.5 years after giving birth should have their license taken away (sorry to be so extreme, but this makes me really angry!) because there is a lot of evidence that spacing pregnancies at least 1.5 years reduces complications in pregnancy & birth a lot. Also, you have only JUST given birth, JUST been pregnant! Your body needs time to recuperate and build back up it's reserves (minerals namely!) that baby has been using to grow. That being said, all you lovely ladies reading these comments that are already pregnant within that 1.5 yr frame: don't freak out! Be happy, care for all your babies inside and outside your womb and care for yourself as much as is possible given your circumstances! Eat a quality diet with lots of healthy fats, keep up your vitamin D level and consider homeopathic tailored support during your pregnancy.
Then the thing about being more fertile post pregnancy. It's said mostly about after miscarriage, not so much after pregnancy carried full term. That being said, even that information is not a general accepted truth. The studies out there contradict each other fully.
As a fertility specialist I also can't come up with a theory why you would be more fertile. Quite the opposite. It would make more sense for you body to NOT be fertile because you really need time to replenish your depleted sources and care for the baby you already have.
I think you will also like this video I did in the past: ua-cam.com/video/2-_bPmGt8R0/v-deo.html
Much love to you, and don't let anyone rush you or crowd out your inner intuition. And... enjoy your sweet sweet baby. It's really cliché, but seriously, that first year goes by so fast. Savor it, especially since you haven't had them easily and another one isn't guaranteed.
