I just literally saw the original short 5 minutes ago and now the behind the scenes is uploaded moments after.

Are those little controls are for lattice? They didn't use cloth simulation? Did they animate the cloths by hand?

looks more complicated than it actually is. animating is still time consuming as hell lol

then u try again and select 15 more before finally get to the one you was trying to... and forget what were u trying to do on the first place...
Its not hard, they have layers that get shown and hidden, making it a breeze. Trust me, I had a little go at some of the models used in the short.

The character models... So many control point! I loved how you can move this one ping at the feet where it bends just right without the need of further changes!

does anyone have any info on why the project was cancelled?
They tried to find investors with two different scripts for a full movie, but afaik, they weren't successful.
Did they just say it took them a whole year to complete this almost 4min animation movie???
I hate to say, but doing everything all by yourself will be pain. Learn to socialize and build a team. 😊
