@@Johnroberts2013 Hi, your last video also has a very immersive sound, we can hear your effort and that of your bike. @@AlexanderOrion Win, Win! We all agree. I can ride down most anything, just at a speed safe for me. You session things. Do you think these guys ride these trails blind at 30-40mph and clean the track? Lol.
@@lamefart You don't have to take the fastest pro lines to ride this trail. Now, the same lines are ridden by every rider bc times between 1st and last is 6 seconds. The track gets torn to shreds and it gets boring. I miss the old days of enduro w ungroomed trails and creative lines.
Aside from the insane pace the fitness level is mind blowing. Anyone whos raced to a decent level knows how knackering it is on even 2 min run let alone 4 min at this pace. The way he sprinted off the final turn was absolutely nuts
Such a relaxed rider, the bike does all the work, and boy does he know where to get the bike to work for him. He's a line choice guru. The envelope has been extended in DH
After Hardline last year, I was convinced Goldstone would win in the elites in his very first year and win the overall. When he's beating the world's best on the hardest track in the world by 6 seconds, it's no surprise he's taking the elites by storm instantly.
@@natmol1595 He's not at Hardline this year. Too risky as they're hosting it this weekend (in mid July) instead of at the end of the World Cup season (September) this year for some reason.
Really cool to see fresh guys making the podium! Nothing wrong with Amaury, Loic, Greg etc but fantastic for Jackson. The first win has to be the hardest one if you look at recent examples like Finn and Vali.
That track is literally lethal, you made a little mistake and you can end up into a tree, a rock, a signage or even people 💀 Pretty sure there is more than hypeesmooth in action here, definitely some more stabilization made in post-production... Still amazing though, the athlete skills are unreal 🔥🚀
I don't know if there is a channel per se, but searching for UCI Mountain biking should find you more coverage. UCI is the international sanctioning body, like the NFL is for U.S. football and MLB is baseball and NBA for basketball and FIA for F1 and WRC.
Bom de mais, fico impressionado com a qualidade dessas câmeras. A estabilização é incrível mesmo com tanto balanço e velocidade. Meu Sonho comprar uma GoPro para melhorar a qualidade dos meus vídeos.
It’s relatively common for people to attend those events with Chainsaws. The sawblades detached of course. They then rev it up in order to make noise instead of cheering :D
I'm not sure what's more insane; the speed he's going or the repeated chainsaw noises! Are they doing course maintenance in the middle of the event, or are there some disturbed people spectating at these events?
Goldstone reminds me of a Sam hill at his proper best. Insane lines, flat landings, seems to just glide over the rough stuff and knows how to turn it up on race day while riding within his means. Looking forward to seeing what the younger era can bring to the game. I mean loic and minnaar need some healthy competion besides themselves.
In this age of technology, with all the cameras out there, and all the digital ways there are to find things out and deliver information...has ANYONE figured out where his mechanic puts the rocket???? As hard as he attacked and hit the very first short turns/berms, right out of the gate, I nearly had a seizure. That was terribly fun to watch.🔥🔥💥💥
Watching these riders has taught me how to ride trails at insane speeds, the secret? Not good tyre grip, not burly suspension or bike, the secret is staying off the ground and going so fast in the corners that the dirt doesn't have time to displace and make you wash out 😂
It mountain biking you need to look ahead to quite far if you wanna ride faster. I’m convinced that Jackson was looking at the finish line from the start

Dude, I saw a clip of some guy warming up in this exact track and the difference is actually nuts to how fast this guy is going

Interesting how the people at top had whistles and cans but towards the bottom they had chainsaws.
It’s easier to hike up a mountain with a whistle than a chainsaw.
