Here in Malaysia, Malay children who are Muslims learn Arabic since the age of five so that they can learn and understand Holy Quran. Nobody asks prayers to be done in Malay as per their comfort and convenience.That is spirituality. We can't expect to practise spiritual life without taking the least effort.

The whole state right from Justice Party to E V R to DK to DMK / ADMK and currently VCK NTK and every other dravidian outfit has only encouraged Extreme HATRED. Well said sir. My mother tongue is kannada.. I am living in TN. So I learn Tamil. My wife speak in Marati. My mother speak in telugu and urdu. As she belongs to Hyderabad. We all know Hindi.
Tamizh is over 20000 years years old. I have evidencr. Samkitums origin is unknown yet! IT is not Important how OLD a language is, but how well it is STRUTURED! SAMSKRITUM ITSELF MEANS A WELL MADE LANGUAGE ! IT HAS NO GRAMMATICAL EXCEPTIONS LIKE OTHER LANGUAGES.. YES. NO WONDER NASA DECLARED IT AS THE BEST LANGUAGE, a few years back, to COMMUNICATE unequivocally, without ambiguity. No wonder all VEDAs were written in Sanskrit/ sankritum to COMMUNICATE WITHOUT DOUBT OF INTERPRETATION.

If that is so then our Tamil is actually making to survive Sanskrit even now! It is also a proven fact that our Tamil can function without using words from Sanskrit or any other languages as the ancient Tamil literature did not have any such words.
Sanskrit has been the auxiliary language for Sanatana Dharma since time immemorial. If we don't know, we got to learn. But I'm sure the temple goers in Tamil Nadu will understand stotras in Sanskrit like Vishnu sahasra naamam better than Thirupaavai or Thiruvaaimozhi. Samaskritadhamaavadhu konjam puriyum aanal thooya tamizh kadugalavum theriyaadharvargal dhan majority😄

From esteemed persons of Sanatana Dharma and its literature, the language in Veda is not Sanskrit.
Vedas are sound based and that need not have to communicate any meaning. One Vedic scholar said the recital to bring the scorpion bite when translate will not result in any meaning. So Vedic recital is totally different and those sounds pronounced in specific way only will result in its impact. No one can make any sense by just reading from a book
On the other hand, Sanskrit is created with scientific methods like phonetics, that closely related for every letter a demotion then create a word etc in a very scientific method. This seems to be a very organised in multiple levels. That is why ancestors used Sanskrit
