I have been seeing them at EPCOT for the last 24 years and have introduced my kids and grand kids to their music......RIP to Paul Revere you will be missed by 3 generations of the Silva family.
Saw Paul and the raiders at Branson one year. They did the first half than Andy Williams came out. So sad that they are both gone now. Two great entertainers gone to soon.
I saw them yesterday at Busch Gardens (went to the 1:00 and 3:30 shows) and had a blast. These guys were just a lot of fun and Paul was a RIOT with his jokes, stories and props. Looking forward to seeing them again when they play Epcot in April.
These guys wrote good songs that are good rock classics, like "Hungry" which is definitely not bubble gum. They are tight musicians, great vocals and have an actual stage performance, and they're actually having fun. You'd never know by looking at the dead Disneyland audience. This is a GREAT concert! They are very, VERY good.
@Mary It would have been better if there were cardboard cutouts of people enjoying a concert instead of these corpses. I bet the band thought that too.
As an annual pass holder living in Florida we always go up to EPCOT when they're here. Seeing them in the middle of April. By the way this is a great recording of their 2011 show, Thanks for posting it, enjoyed it.
I was at Kings Island 1976 just got married 21 years old and here was Paul Revere and the Raiders for the centennial and I think one of them got married there at the amusement park in Ohio....
Remember seeing them in person playing at Riverside Arena and Recreation Centre in Old Riverside, ON. which is now part of the City of Windsor across from Detroit. Loved them then and still enjoy listening to them now, brings back a lot of memories of the good old days.
No, Mark, Fang, Drake, Smitty, and Harpo aren't here, but Paul is still one of the greatest showmen of all time. I can't knock the guy for keeping the Raiders alive. For those that haven't followed the Raiders closely, Drake and Smitty have passed away. Fang works in Vegas. Harpo has a company called Rainbow Planet. Mark tours on a regular basis so look for him. Mark and Paul do not get along, so don't look for Lindsay fronting a Revere band anytime soon.
Doug Heath & Ron Foos were in later editions of The Sonics (Seattle garage band legends). If you like like this performance, try to find the VHS tape "The Last Mad Man Of Rock & Roll" (I don't believe its on DVD)
Paul told me in 1995 that he had not talked to Mark in fifteen years. Glad they reconciled before his death. Would have been neat if they did something together though.
I also thought Lindsey looked strange waving his hands and jumping up and down like that, bizarre. He had a style all his own that's true but what the hell was it?
As Alex Choo mentioned, they never finish a song. I saw them 2 years ago in Branson, Mo. Expected to hear a lot of their hits. I think they played maybe 3 songs complete but the rest were cut short by Paul doing his on stage antics. To bad, I really used to like them. Never again!!
I also saw them in Branson 2 years ago last Nov. Had been a fan of them until then. As a previous commentor said they never finished a song. Was very diasppointed and will never watch them again!! The warm up band for them was Bill Haley and the Comets, much, much better!!!!!
This is so bad...without Drake Levin and Mark Lindsey, the Raiders are just a stand-in act for something great that happened for a few years back in the 60s.
This band needs to be put in the Rock and Roll hall of fame‼️
Ive loved thier music since 1965 when I was 9 this was my sisters music !
Paul was fighting the 1st stage of colon cancer at this time,he kept on performing when he was up to it till shortly before he passed.

Forever Young they are still in our hearts, Thank you for all the happy times.
GREAT show, Love you Paul Miss you so much, But thank God The Raiders are still going on, your GREAT

These guys could do a whole show on just doing their own hits!
Is why they belong in the Rock and Roll hall of fame‼️

Paul is no longer with us. RIP.
I was at Kings Island 1976 just got married 21 years old and here was Paul Revere and the Raiders for the centennial and I think one of them got married there at the amusement park in Ohio....
They actually look to be enjoying themselves. You don't see that, in a lot of bands today.
That's only because the government doesn't allow bands to play anymore. They might be super-spreaders of happiness.

Mark Lindsey still has a great voice. I had the biggest crush on him when I was in junior high school.

Darren is great as lead singer
Not great...AWESOME!
Great Show -Thanks 😊✨🇺🇸🌿😎🥊✌🏼
Sound great. Thanks!
Darren,
Way to go! "We got to get out of this Place" rocks.
I like Darren better than the others he seems to interact with the crowd more and has more enery in the songs
You gotta luv em.!!
Darren does a great job as lead singer. Paul is doing pretty good for an old guy.
Mark has said that they reconciled in recent years. They discussed doing something together, but it never panned out.
Paul told me in 1995 that he had not talked to Mark in fifteen years. Glad they reconciled before his death. Would have been neat if they did something together though.
REALLY tight band- they sound great, even on the covers of non-Raider hits.....
There used to be a professional quality full concert video of these guys at Epcot. I can't find it anymore.
GOOD ROCK ROLL
I was there when they popped up.But,where is Mark Lindsay, and the original bassist,FANG??..Great job you guys..
Fang was not original.
Paul left the band decades ago. He tours as a solo act.
I think FANG is dead.
as a solo act. FANG
Paul is the only original member, and I don't think mark has toured with the group since 1975.
I also thought Lindsey looked strange waving his hands and jumping up and down like that, bizarre. He had a style all his own that's true but what the hell was it?
What are there like 2 original members still in the group? Anybody know when the last time Mark Lindsay toured with the band?
1882.
At 8:00, to perform a studio hit like "Good Thing" so well isn't easy. Ouch...they cut it short.
know mark no me.
Can this be P R and the Raiders without Mark Lindsay?
Yes. It's Paul's band.
I also saw them in Branson 2 years ago last Nov. Had been a fan of them until then. As a previous commentor said they never finished a song. Was very diasppointed and will never watch them again!! The warm up band for them was Bill Haley and the Comets, much, much better!!!!!
The crowd is totally dead, as a dead flower.
This is so bad...without Drake Levin and Mark Lindsey, the Raiders are just a stand-in act for something great that happened for a few years back in the 60s.
Really sad. Who the hell are these guys?
I'd be pissed if I was there and that band didn't finish the songs I was there to hear. Kind of a shit the stick show here.
Go see Mark Lindsay. 3 minutes of singing the song, three minutes of trying to get the crowd to sing it with him. Only 30 minutes on stage.
No Mark Linsey then. False adversiting.
You can't even spell his name write.
@@ronfowlermusic You chase down an eight year old comment? Did you purposely use the wrong spelling for "right". Eye roll.
