    Why don’t newer top loads, even ones with agitators, have the recirculating water system anymore? That constant cycling of water is ingenious

    • @erossinema8797
      @erossinema8797 Рік тому

      Because it's not just a recirculating waterfall--- it's a lint filter. Today's washers have them, but they are self cleaning and you can't see them

      When every household finally had a dryer the lint cartridge became obsolete as the dryer got the lint off of the clothes. Everyone liked how soft their laundry was. Personally, i love how there were no lingering odors because sunlight kills so many bacteria. Hanging laundry is my favorite way. I especially love how crisp my jeans are.

    If they don’t come out clean after that wash cycle then it’s best that you throw them in the garbage! Nothing will clean them better than that. Could you imagine an HE wash plate trying to do that?

    Hi I live in the UK and we always have front loader's, A front loader will wash just as well, but is this rough action on your clothes doing damage and wearing them out quicker!!,

    • @patcola7335
      @patcola7335 5 років тому +1

      Do you think the engineers who made this were ignorant ? These machines were among the best .
      We have always had front loaders in the USA since the first fully automatic was a front loader , but Bendix tied up the patents on things like the suspension and many manufacturers had to work around that .
      Besides all that, the progression to the automatic was a natural switch from the wringer washers that were prevalent before manufacturers ramped up automatic production after the war .
      Traditional top loaders cleaned better than front loaders for decades according to Consumer Reports over here. So there was that. Besides we as Americans don't want to wait all day for laundry to get done.
      We also had traditionally bigger families here than in the UK or Europe so I'm sure that probably played a factor as well.
      .
      The high sudsing detergents we had here were no help in the early days when synthetic detergents were being introduced.
      Front loaders just never really gained popularity over here until relatively recently.

    Smart like two colleges you are Eugene!By adding bleach five minutes into the wash you excite the detergent's enzymic and molecular action boosting performance beyond a standard bleach application.

    • @kenmorewhirlpool7077

      Bruce Solomon actually bleach denatutates enzymes

    • @kenmorewhirlpool7077

      that is why it is suggested to add it at the end of the wash. because if you add it at the beginning you lose the enzyme action.

      Muita gente fala que a brastemp foi vendida pra Whirlphool nos anos 2000 e que antes era comandada pela Multibrás. Acredito que a Whirlpool já era dona da Multibrás ou pelo menos tinham uma parceria.
      Isso porquê se for analisar essas lavadoras são praticamente idênticas a brastemp de antigamente (antes de 2000), e de algumas dos Eua até a mecânica é muito parecida. Se elas não tivessem algo a ver seria plágio ter máquinas idênticas de marcas "diferentes"
