Thank you Cerise, I was a little surprised it came out so well for my second attempt, although there’s a ton of areas I need to improve of still 😄 not sure what I’ll sculpt next but I’m excited for it regardless!
@@SwampRatMiniatures I made my own inquisitor from scratch, I used the head and weapons from some other kits but like the body, arms and legs I made. Not as cool as yours though lol. He's a bit stiffly posed but I figured he looks fine lol.
I just used the standard milliput for this (silver coloured version because it’s all the shop near me had!), so you should be fine with any kind of you’re mixing it into the green stuff really. I think milliput do an ‘extra fine’ version too that might work even better so I may test that next time, and thank you my man always appreciate you watching, I enjoyed the old school look too I might do some more like this in the future!
@@SwampRatMiniatures I am! I made myself a half-buried Squig out of air dry clay and have 10 more squigs and a squigbuggy to keep me busy once my Grots are done 🤣
@@Deefry sounds awesome, I’ve got a few squigs waiting to be painted actually, never seem to find the time for them though, good luck with yours though my man!!
Sculpted by hand is better. Digitally rendered 3d sculpts have a way of being "technically flawless" that makes them look lifeless. Hand sculpted on the otherhand, has a life in it, imparted by the sculptor. It's character. Hand sculpted has more character. Edit: Love it, please, PLEASE do more. This is one the most inspiring mini related vids I've watched in a long time. 👍👍👍👍
Completely agree, maybe an unpopular opinion but I actually think a lot of the miniatures these days are a bit over-engineered and have too much going on, some of the older hand sculpted ones just have so much more charm to them. And thank you I’m really glad you liked it, definitely more to come, thanks for watching my friend!
Proud of you my son! Keep up the good work
Thank you father, your unending support means more to me than that time mum ate that badger ❤️
I’m mind blown that this is only sculpt number two!!!
Really really well done!!!!
Can’t wait to see what you do next with this new skill!!! 😊😊😊

@@SwampRatMiniatures you are welcome 🤗
He's great, full of charm and character :)
Thank you dude, might do some more of these old school sculpts in the future!
@@SwampRatMiniatures That's fantastic, I'm looking forward to it!
this is awesome my friend
Thank you my man glad you enjoyed it!!
I do love a old fashioned sculpting. His waist is a little too skinny but it still looks great.
Yeah agree with you on that, next one needs to be a bit more chonky, thanks for watching though!

As a total noob in sculpting do you advise a particoular kind of milliput? Great vid as always, the old vibe is lovely!

Thank goodness not much else was in the firing line of that paint water!
Also UA-cam didn't recommend me your previous video - time to hit that bell!
Hahaha it came out like a tidal wave 😄 darn UA-cam, appreciate it though my man and I hope you’re good!

Thank you my friend! He’s definitely got a bit of an old school look about him but I like him too, thanks for watching!
That looks good, just about the only thing that looks "wrong" is the waist is a little thin, other than that I think its a great job.
Thank you my man! Yeah for sure, definitely need to make my next one a bit more chonky in the mid section, thanks for watching though!
