    Thank you! Just to be sure : do standarts co2/o2 tables just in movement and catching breath back in static?

      @KAIZENFREEDIVING  4 роки тому +5

      You can do differently - normal O2/CO2 table and rest while standing. Or keep walking during recovery phase (breathing obviously)

    Thank you for your Videos! Its a hard time, but your explanations are great and realy motivate me to improve myself, my training and to learn more about freediving. Im still at the verry beginning of this Sport, since ive been dry practicing for a year with a few pool exeptions. Im still struggeling with equalisation, also in scuba, so thats gonna be my main focus for this next months. My breathhold is relatively good for a beginner id say, but i need to get confortable with the movement in the water and the mental component. I really look forward to take a course at your school someday... its pretty much a dream of mine, since i haven't travelled this far my entire life! Is there another way one can support you from afar? I can not give much, since I lost my last job due to the pandemic, but i really want to support you a little bit for doing this and helping people for free!

    Can i ask how long is a good time? i can do static breathhold for 5 minutes, but can barely get past 90 seconds even walking really casually

      It's hard to compare apnea walking and sta. Different energy systems used, different way to relax. Might be try to slow down your walking speed. Also, make sure that all muscles are fully relaxed (same as in STA) :)

    Hi.. Im level 1 freediver but i want to ask is there any other methods to do relaxation others than hyperventilation? Normally i do 3minutes hyperventilation. Static i get 3.25 minutes, dynamic max 30m to 50m.. Max depth 15.7m fresh water coz i cant equalize valsava after 15m. Can u give me any your link or tips for me to improvise myself? Coz i play depth with others but they not take too long for relaxation but they can go deeper and more longer. Thanks

      DONT HYPERVENTILATE!!!!!!! Please dont. it is a common begginer error that could cause an early black out without even noticing. At the moment do this before you dive: breath normally for 2 minutes, just as you would on the sofa, nor faster nor slower. if you feel like you hyperventilated, stop and try again breathing slower. You should feel perfectly normal. Then inhale deeply and fully exhale, Take your full inhale and start diving. You will know get contractions much earlier which is good. It depends on the person but when you get your first contraction you should be half way through the dive.
      Whatever you do, never hyperventilate no matter how good it feels, you will actually hold your breath for longer even if you start with greater discomfort.
      For equalasation it is easier said than done. Just learn Frenzel equalasation. There are plenty of tutorials on youtube and although it may sound difficult, it is a matter of time.
      Moral of the story:
      Don't hyperventilate!!!

    How does apnea walks relate to real freediving cause i can hold breath 1 minute when going to the depth, and when i started apnea walks with pasive exhale and mouthfill charge just like dive few days ago i noticed that i can hold breath for only 1 min too?
    So does this mean if i increase my apnea walk time i could expect the same time when diving, i mean is it really that similar or its just coincidence?

    How long should I train apnea walking per day?

    • @KAIZENFREEDIVING
      @KAIZENFREEDIVING  4 роки тому +2

      I like to do it 30 mins max. After that you can do breathing exercises for 30 mins more, if you have enough time

    Can you do other excercises then walking? Apnea squats, apnea jumping jacks? Etc ..

    • @KAIZENFREEDIVING

      Apnea squats are definitely popular. Some do apnea bicycles (stationary bicycles, of course).
