You noted the Benchmark lineup and said it was a great value at around $20. Today I was able to buy the Benchmark Bonded for $7.49 per 750ml bottle at Total Wine in Alpharetta!, GA.
Wife and I stayed in McDonough GA recently to enjoy cooler weather and a change of scenery from SW Florida. Picked up a 13th colony bourbon, JJ Bowman single barrel, Stellium bourbon, Heaven Hill 7yr BiB and a Larceny BP A123.
Really appreciate you skimming over the scotch section, they had a pretty decent Compass Box selection and overall variety there. Need to get some Penelope in my life too
Great selection i hope to go shoping in GA next month. I'd grab the 13th sour mash just cause it's discontinued and won't be able to get it again. Also would have checked out Red Line like every bottle i've had from them. Cheers have a great week everyone.
Unreal selection you taped. I got an SLB pick Sagamore Spirits 7 Year Rye today, along with an Elijah Craig Private Barrel pick from Bee Liquors and a Four Gate Kelvin Collaboration V. 🥃
Dude no way I missed you down in my neck of the woods! Turtle Creek is awesome I still haven’t managed to win a raffle yet tho! Cheers for whenever you read this and have your next drink!
A great store. I live anout 6 miles away and I'm in there quite often. They have really good store picks. Their allocated lottery is coming up this Saturday and im hoping my name gets drawn.
Great variety at fair pricing. I did notice a couple Canadian bottles next to all those Whistlepigs. I saw Lot 40 and Pike Creek. Both are lower 40 percenters so easy sipping. Lot 40 is 100% rye and Pike Creek is finished in rum barrels. I like these bourbon hunt videos. They show what is out there. BTW if you are worried about copyright strikes on the music playing in the background I heard somebody say that you have guitars just hanging around near your speakeasy lol. Hint hint
Btw sagamore only has 4 or 5 yr thats their own so far. The 8 yrs are still mgp, but they are excellent. Its the bottled in bond thats their own rye if i remember correctly
If you haven’t tried any of the stuff from red line, you should give it a try. I bought one of the experimental honey cask finished ones and it is fantastic!
Digging the Green River love. We are proud of our local distillery. Can’t wait for the single barrel barrel strength. I saw they had two special Ardbeg’s there I’d had to have grabbed them.
That kings county peated bourbon is great! Definitely not like your traditional peated whiskey where the peat is a tasting note of its own. IMO, the peat enhances the sweetness of the bourbon and adds depth and complexity vs being the star of the show. Also, if you’re hunting for Octomore, there is a store here in Columbus, GA that had 2 or 3 iterations last time I was there! I’ll have to look next time I’m there to be sure they’re still there though!
This place is about 45 minutes from me, but I haven't been there yet. I hesitate to make the 90-minute roundtrip when some of the things I'd like to have but can't find closer to home are outside my price range and not knowing whether more reasonably priced items would be in stock. I wish they'd build a website linked to inventory (as, for example, JAX Beverage Superstore in Buford does). If I knew specific bourbons were in stock and within my price range, then I'd make the trip. I guess they're making enough money as is that they don't want to invest in online services. (It appears they've actually backed away from any online capability. Their last facebook post was nearly six years ago, and the URL their facebook page is inactive.) Unfortunate.

For shelfers, that store seems to have nearly everything 🥃😊
My hometown store - great selection
That Sagamore 8 year is delicious as long as it’s batch 2A. 2A is the newest one and it’s incredible.
ECBP9 on the floor!? ample quantities?! zowie!!! Eagle...HH7BiB...etc. Nice! Great video buddy! Great too see y'all on the road!!!

Penelope Toasted Barrel Strength is fantastic.
Also, if you frequent the area around Atlanta, check out Branded Barrel in Lawrenceville.
Nice to see what’s available! The Redbreast 21 is an awesome pour!
Great video, makes me want to see that store based on how much I kept thinking of what I'd want
Don't sleep on Shortbarrel!
The Green River, Blue Note Juke Joint are both great bottles!
Wish they sold smokewagon here. Great stuff.
Love the barrel picks at Turtle Creek! This is a great liquor store!
Wow...what a selection. Would love to see this variety in a store!
Great to hear about another store I need to check out since I live in GA! Another great video! 👍
Man I hope OK gets the full benchmark line up! The full proof is incredible for its price!
Chattanooga BiB is phenomenal. Should’ve grabbed some Creature Comforts Tropicalia while you were there.
Great store. There a lots of great whiskeys that are not available in Michigan. Really jealous ;-)
Really appreciate you skimming over the scotch section, they had a pretty decent Compass Box selection and overall variety there. Need to get some Penelope in my life too
Milam and Greene Rocks! Tried it and it's great
Great selection i hope to go shoping in GA next month. I'd grab the 13th sour mash just cause it's discontinued and won't be able to get it again. Also would have checked out Red Line like every bottle i've had from them. Cheers have a great week everyone.
Good vid, showing us whats out there
Should have grabbed that blue note!!
That Yellowstone picks are amazing. I still have some in mine and am wanting another!
I got a Yellowstone pick in Indiana few years ago it was fantastic
Love going into stores like that with a HUGE selection, including some great store picks. Appreciate the video!
I could spend a lot of money in that store. It's definitely the best selection I have ever seen.
Unreal selection you taped. I got an SLB pick Sagamore Spirits 7 Year Rye today, along with an Elijah Craig Private Barrel pick from Bee Liquors and a Four Gate Kelvin Collaboration V. 🥃
The Old Soul store picks are AMAZING. I brought one to a tasting 2 weeks ago and it stole the show.
Dude no way I missed you down in my neck of the woods! Turtle Creek is awesome I still haven’t managed to win a raffle yet tho! Cheers for whenever you read this and have your next drink!
Whistle pig was in it proper area since it was in the Canadian whiskey.
I'd definitely recommend the Russell's SB Rye. It's surprisingly rye forward for a barely legal mashbill. Delicious stuff for sure.
As a Georgian, all the Smokewagon and BT are findable quite a bit. And Turtle Creek is one of the best!
Was even able to find Weller at a random liquor store near my folks' place last time I was home
Bourbon Disneyland!
They have shirts online that look like Walt Disney but say Malt Whiskey 😜 Worn mine till it was basically a rag
This was a great video. I need to visit GA
You should grab the Short Barrel Toasted and Rye if reasonable....seems to only be found in Georgia awesome pour....I shop Georgia a lot
A great store. I live anout 6 miles away and I'm in there quite often. They have really good store picks. Their allocated lottery is coming up this Saturday and im hoping my name gets drawn.
Love Laws 4 Grain too!
Big fan of Green River and Wheel Horse

Look at all that eye-candy! I've been getting Baker's 7s that are 8 years 11 months lately. I try to keep backups on hand of those.
Got a 8 years 10 month so freaking good 😋🥃
@@Jared40 I don't get tired of Beam's premium lineup.
Green River Wheated is fabulous!
I got the Chattanooga BiB for just under 50 bucks; short story, I was both very pleased and very surprised
Of all the Calumet Farms Bourbons and I have had them all including the 15-8 blend and the 14 yr old is still the best
If you are after an Octomore next time in GA check Pops Wine and Spirits in Suwannee - they typically have them out on the shelf
I love pops, I'll have to check it next time we're in town. I didn't go there this time.
I got a Bakers 7 with 8 years 10 month age statement on neck tag so freaking good got it for $59😋🥃
i hate VA ABC lol. Love seeing the hunt in other states.
Did some hunting in VA, it was pretty disappointing 😆😭
Btw sagamore only has 4 or 5 yr thats their own so far. The 8 yrs are still mgp, but they are excellent. Its the bottled in bond thats their own rye if i remember correctly
I think GA is a under rated state to hunt in.
Glendronach 15 is my favorite scotch from what i saw there-
You need an Octomor? Stateline Elite Fort Mill, SC has 13.1,13.2 and 13.3
If you haven’t tried any of the stuff from red line, you should give it a try. I bought one of the experimental honey cask finished ones and it is fantastic!
I found the Teeling peated rather good
That redbreast 15 is an awesome Irish whiskey.
Please let us know if that Kings is good, I keep seeing it just don't know anything about it.
Want me to look for that Russell
Try the Pinhook seven year vertical if you have not very fantastic better than the normal Pinhook 115 proof very smooth
Should have gotten the Old Soul
I think the whistle pigs were with other Canadian whiskeys 😂
Turtle creek has been my store for a long time!
Digging the Green River love. We are proud of our local distillery. Can’t wait for the single barrel barrel strength. I saw they had two special Ardbeg’s there I’d had to have grabbed them.

Did you do a review of that peated bourbon from kings county? Almost picked it up a few times
should got the wyoming 10
Nice selection but prices seem high on many items.
The bottles look dusty hehe
Hey David! How often do y’all come to GA? It’s seems like quite I few videos you mentioned some new bottles you pick up while you’re down here.
You go down probably once every six months or so
Green Spot is the best Irish for the money!
Does that store ship? Insane selection.
I picked up Turtle Creek’s Laws Cask Strength store pick. It tasted pretty weird and malty to me. I’m not a fan. I’m interested in your opinion.
I know exactly where this is! Have you been to Jax?
Jealous of the Glenallechie selection

Unfortunate.
You should have picked up the WW10yr! That’s a great bottle and I thought they only sold it in WY
Not sure about the 10yr, but I know the Powder River was a WY only release.
I bought a townbranch single barrel Ohio pick🤮
I wondered if that was any good. Glad I didn’t pick it up.
