Hello. The place on the fusebox you used has constant power or has power only when the vehicle is on? It still working good? Thanks for the explanation.
Constant power sir, it has acc remote power from the HU and it powers when the hu is on or off, its working good, this subwoofer consumes minimal load ,so no need to install the power directly to the battery
never leave bare wire behind the head unit, even if cut flush (talking about the blue remote wire that outputs 12v each time the hu is on. cover the end of the wire with electrical tape. how much power is that sub? 12-14awg wire from the fuse box is not a good source. I guess if it's 50w (max), but at a minimum, you should use 10awg wire, fused at the battery, then ground w/in 24" or shorter from the sub (w/10awg wire)...this was scary to watch 😢
I used #10 on the wires & were all taped after taking the video sir, the fuse box vacant slot has 20amps cap, the sub amp only requires 10amps. 😊 for hi power sub amps ( not under seat) i always tap directly from the battery, with big wires. Thank you for your feedback and advised sir😊

can i take +12v from the costanti +12 wire of the head unit?
No sir, just tap directly to fuse box or battery. To avoid overloading
