Blur and Driver San Francisco are probably the two most innovative racing games ever made and they were both forgotten by their respective companies. Hell at least Driver SF is backwards compatible on the Xbox One, I still play it with my friends regularly on Split-Screen.
Never liked BLUR a single bit but totally liked Driver SF however I wish it was never named Driver cause it has nothing to do with the good old Driver series in my opinion.
I miss more Project Gotham Racing from Xbox hell even the 1st on Xbox original the brakes even had animation when braking like who would ever think of adding that detail that nobody is going to see LOL.
Project Gotham Racing also came from Metropolis Street Racer which was very futuristic all the way back in Dreamcast, it had a butter smooth gameplay and it's what first introduced me to the "Kudos" 😎
Also another innovative game for me was Sega GT from both Dreamcast and Xbox, they were all offering something different than the more common GT.
Those two racing games are GOAT tier. I remember when they first came out and I couldn’t get enough of them.

I played BLUR on the Xbox 360 at 3 AM, then a YELLOW AUDI TTS COUPE appeared outside my house, then a pale, skinny man busted my door down..
This game and a game called (split second) released in 2010 and both of them are criminally underrated.

I was into car racing games when I was younger and this game was one of those racing games that I couldn’t put down. There were even times where I wished a sequel would come, but alas, it never did. This was one of those underrated classics, in my eyes.
Nostalgia. I knew this game thanks to the challenge series from NFS Most Wanted: Pepega Edition.

oh ive been playing it for 9 years, its a game that never gets old man.
Ppl want simulators and more accurate stuff. And if they want arcade racers then Forza horizon and the Crew are better because people like open world now also. If anyone wants a closed course arcade then they can just get asphalt which is also free.

that ending was probably why the game fell off, as i progressed the events got harder and harder and i didn't see it fun anymore, it was more like i was being bullied for playing the game :))))

Blur is the most badass race game ever. We used to play this game with friends in split screen (4 players) it was addictive, there was like a competition, you earn points from every race depending on your position.. I broke so many controllers playing this game 😂😂 but I was reaaly good at it.. we were enjoying every moment playing it.. so sad that Blur 2 never came up and Blizzard don’t exist anymore..😞
Still have the game and still lovin' it. Just need a homie or 2 to play with.
Best ps3 split screen memories
This game is very good and as if it were a realistic mario kart I played it on xbox 360, PS3 and PC until today I have it on my computer and it is very fun to play with friends in co-op mode
