@@IRXCERngl, it's fm3 for me. There is a certain atmospheric charm that got lost going from 3 to 4 even if it's 'more realistic', like audible crowd cheers in certain tracks despite race cars zooming by.
Update, 17+ updates and the Cars are still buggy, graphics still have that old 360 quality graphics, and the wet tires are just sport tires in disguise@purwantiallan5089

The intro of latest FM will always make me laugh so much. "Make 2 laps of practice on a random supercar. Ok, now finish an endurance's last lap on a prototype". "Good job! Here's to you both cars gifted to your garage!" I understand the idea of bringing exciment in a game's intro, but it has turned so cartoonishly over the top at this point. Everything must be given here and now as they assume "otherwise the audience will get bored", because apparently if you don't get ultrafast monsters 5 minutes in, it will be boring. Am I the only one who wants games to go back to "slow" and humble starts, having to spend a few hours before you get a mid tier racing car?
I am a weirdo who has more fun driving D-B class cars than race cars (I do not like how racecars are almost undriveable without TCS+handle shit before you hit speeds high enough for aero and handle perfectly after) so nah def not the only one. I spent most of my best times in FM3, FM4 and GT3 and 4 trying to push average sporty cars to the limit or doing massive slip angle to make fat old muscle cars turn.
@@misfire33 as much as I enjoy driving stock oldies, AI ruins fun for me. They're still dumb Forza AI, that slavishly follows raceline and slows down to crawl at slightest hint of slipping, brake-checking anyone who actually knows how to corner.

Yall complaining but having played both gt7 and fm8, I enjoy both and notice much difference between them... I just use my wheel and have fun on both. I prefer the online on fm8 and the weather in gt7 but thats about it ☠️ yall talking like fm8 is unplayable to the point we should all delete the game

Its legit just racing, vroom vroom, turn left and right .Now for games i like to actually enjoy and reflect on, my standards are pretty high, I love souls games or stuff like death stranding. Basically any games where you are not limited by the dev to do only one thing. I hate linear games where its too easy and they basically got fking popups telling you what to do and not do. Also you forget something, not everyone is as passionate about racing as you lmao. For anyone looking for casual fun and race with friends for fun, its a perfectly fine game.

The soundtrack between the different GT games, the FM1 music tracks, that Sega GT 2002 music track you used, the voiceovers in FM4 from the trio all bring back awesome memories for me seeing as I grew up with this "golden era" of racing games starting with GT2 and basically played every major racing release and I can tell you were there too just from your references, music picks etc. I don't hate the new FM but it definitely could've been way better. Same with GT7, it's sad but always cool to know there's old school fans out there just like yourself. Keep up the great vids! Absolutely incredible piece of media. The editing and the references were better than GTAV.exe in my opinion. I was waiting a VERY long time for this one! Also, I did a double take when I saw the parking lot pictures at the end- I live five minutes from there 😅
I think this was the first game that I went in with extremely low expectations and was still disappointed by it. I can’t imagine anyone paying money for this game.
Imo the biggest problem of FM isn't anything in the gameplay. When I could play it, it was perfectly fine. The real issue is that I have to specify that it's when I _could_ play it, because as of one of the recent updates, the game for some reason will not finish updating. Idk if it's FM or steam or my PC.
The heaven is ACC for me and I'm paralyzed from the chest down. That's how bad it is. I'm playing hardcore Sims out of a wheelchair on a padded!barely any life, but boy the racing is fun as shit though.
How did you get the replay cameras for the intro race? Do you remake the races or are the intro races saved somewhere? Also, this video took a lot of effort, even more than Turn 10 took in the 6 years of developing Forza Motorsport.

I recently tried Forza Motorsport again. After all the updates, it seems to handle worse now then it did before in some cars 🙈 . Before they where floaty now some feel like big 18 wheelers.

Same, played forza 4 earlier today and those sounds were beyond perfect. The zonda r felt more real than any car in fm8.
