In the same time that it has taken to put this up it has taken our Council (Cheshire West) or the Highways Agency has just about put up a set of traffic lights and changed the road markings but it isnt quite right as 5 men in hi viz jackets have been pondering it for the last week and started digging it up again. Touch and go as to which project will finish first but my money is on Tesla.
Die müßen schon einige Programmier und Versuchskarossen weggeschafft haben...Sonst würde die Halle bald damit vollstehen. Vielleicht machen sie das in der Kamera Freien Zeit. Anlagen und Roboter kann ich ja nur Testen wenn Karossen durchlaufen.
Ich hab mal an einer Maschine gearbeitet die halt man ab und zu in Pausen so eingestellt daß sie ihre Produkte (PE Rohlinge) gleich wieder "gefressen" und eingeschmolzen hat.. auch damit der Schichtdurchschnitt nicht zu hoch ging... 1987.. Stoppen und dann schrittweise hochfahren hat evtl. mehr Ausschuß produziert und Sachen brannten fast an beim Stoppen.. 250 Grad..
Da wird nocht nichts produziert, was produziert wird geht direkt in den Schrott. Bisher liefen da ausschließlich fertige Karossen aus den USA / China durch die Halle zum Einrichten der Anlagen.
@@julianreverse Ich denke wenn das Presswerk und der Rohbau mal einigermaßen IO Karossen liefern lässt mann die schon weiter durch die Produktion laufen und Schrottet sie erst vor oder nach der Fertigmontage. man muß auch bedenken das viele der Arbeiter ihre "Arbeiten" erst üben müßen, das geht am besten am Arbeitsplatz selbst

sometimes you wonder what those "greens" are really fighting for... until you discover that greenpeace is on the board of Greenpeace Energy eG (recently renamed Green Planet Energy eG) which has a large stake in russian gas powered peaker plants...
Largest manufacturer doesn't mean you have the largest factory. Plus tesla and Panasonic are already in a partnership. They can jointly built the cells in giga Berlin
I’m always shocked at the lack of activity seen in the fly overs in Germany vs. the beehive of activity in Texas. The Tesla team must be very frustrated
It is hard to compare Giga Berlin and Giga Austin. The hall here is now completely closed so most of the work which is happening inside is not visible, although Tesla recieved permission to work 24/7. Some external companies, e.g. the crane company which is setting up the concrete elements at the battery factory either don’t have enough staff or need to obey their working regulations.
Fly overs are only allowed outside of the main working hours. If you want to see the site busy you have to watch the weekly timelapse videos by Tobias published each Wednesday (or the day after). Those are made from outside the property. I'm rather frustrated by the lack of priority Tesla gives to some works that had to be done. E.g. 7:19. Those cooling aggregates had been parked for 1.5 years on the site. Tesla has since 13. July 2020 the permission to build the structures of the CUB that will provide cooling, heating and air pressure for the entire factory. And those structures are definitely no "construction high-tech" (like the cell factory) only a few companies are able to deliver. No better with the wastewater treatment. Still working on some foundations. It will need some time until the concrete is hard enough to put a load on it. Plus the time for the still needed pipework to get this all working. E.g. for the pipes from the tank farm to the production. And for those one needs definitely specialists. Which are all busy with orders.
Yes, but they could not start until the heating, cool, air and water treatment is finished. They had approval to start building this more than a year ago, but it is just foundations at this stage.
@@AndreasDelleske Well if you know anything about Tesla you know that the company almost died three times. The situation is pretty comfortable now. There was a reason why they built the European factory last and relied on imports to build their presence there. Germany is a rich place and can afford the labor laws they have. That’s great. But everything comes at a cost. Tesla will hopefully get a great long term return on all the money being burned over there now.

Looks like the heating cooling system is being worked on but isn't it winter, must be cold in the factory. Love these low flying videos.
That’s why they installed it now. It is colder in Germany. Otherwise the workers are keeping themselves warm with mobile heaters.
