Thanks for the 360° Link.
Afterwards i went to the satellite image.
There is the saying that Tesla starts the permanent buildings with tents. I cannot compare with other Tesla places. But there are plenty of tents.

Thank you my friend
You are welcome!
With pleasure! And have you already planned your visit to Giga Berlin?
@@thewolfpackberlin I want to go to Giga Berlin in the future.
I'm a Tesla private investor and I'll continue to be.All my assets are 100% Tesla
I want to be a good friend.
Thank you for the video.🙏
Fantastic! Good Video! And Good Luck To Tesla 👍😎👍 simply the best!
Thanks a lot!
Ein schön detailliertes Video mit entspannter Musik!
Danke Rene. Schön, dass es dir gefällt. 👍🏼
Looks like many things are being cleared and cleaned up for approaching winter. Building windows, doors, and bays finished (and closable); HVAC systems preparing to keep interiors warm; enough castings there for thousands of cars. Railway systems infrastructure foundations progressing well. The innovative designs of these newer factories and the improvements to the older factories reflect and bode well for the future of mass production - raw materials in, products out. Your flyovers are enjoyed very much. Danke schön.
Well observed. You are welcome! Thank you Warren.
As always good taste of background music. Thank you.
Thanks a lot
Thank you!
Merci👍👍👍
Thank You for the Good Video. Do we know why all the empty transport trucks are parked in the lot near the highway? Just storage until Monday?
When they produce 2000 cars a week, they need every day more than 50 transport trucks!
Many Thanks.
On Sundays there is a driving ban for most trucks in Germany. Also, there is no production of Model Ys on Sunday yet, so everyone is waiting for Monday.
Damn that is a lot of castings. And are they already making ready for another casting machine (new chimney opening)?
Also, as expected, the parking area near the entrance has been demolished in sections. It'll be a good time to use public transport to get to work - parking will be somewhat limited.
That's right, everything indicates that another gigapress is about to start.
The parking spaces will certainly be expanded quickly, then there will be plenty of space for parking again.
What this video does is overwhelm me with the scale and audacity of this endeavor. Thank you for this excellent presentation!
We really appreciate that. Many thanks. 😊

You are welcome! Greetings from Berlin

Thanks a lot Eddie 😊👍🏼
Great video 👍👍
Thank you!
Nice.

German government should also provide incentives for manufacturing batteries in-house. Is good for jobs and good for independence .
They did, but there were so many rules and fishhooks in the incentives that Tesla said no thanks. They want to make them this decade, not next.
There are currently 11 really big battery factories being built in Germany, only one of them is Tesla's.
Europe let Vanadium and LiFePO research slip to China for a while but Germany is leader of the European cluster of battery research. See Maximilian Fichtner, Ulm.
True, but not only Germany. Future technology should be promoted worldwide.
@@thewolfpackberlin Patent system does this after a commercial phase. I would agree one should shorten the patent protection or give state funding.
Another Great #Tesla Video

As great as usual 😊 👏👏
You are very welcome Vincent. Thanks for your support.
4:51 Surprised to see the lifting straps still on the flues/vents from the helicopter lift the other day, I thought they'd be removed as soon as the lift was completed. I assumed the straps were the helicopter company's, and would leave with them.
The straps are quickly removed.
Forget to labeled the 4 junkyards
21:50 Seems that is all scrap parts. Can they use all the rear gigacastings 15:00 without having the 4680 line running?
Yes
Hello, do you know what these chimneys will be used for? As she looks air on the production and painting building. Would that be for a new paint line? Because I'm still desperately waiting for my blue MYP and wondering if I shouldn't go to the competition, because it's starting to be very long there. Thanks for your answer.
I guess mostly fume extraction.
They are for the plastic parts production and for the powder coating department.
The big 5th on the casting building is for another gigapress. 04:30
minute mark 21:30 to 22:30, rejects awaiting disassembly ?
Yes, from 21:40... looks like it.
Sad that the 4680 factory was originally called the warehouse. Now with 4680 team called to Austin, the building will be a warehouse for motors and castings.
It will be OK. In any case, the project is not cancelled.
From an entrepreneurial point of view, the decision for US subsidies is understandable.
great video as always. Tech truck for transporting cars, how many are there :O Do you know when they will paint other color ?
Thank you Johny! We don't know how many car transporters there are locally. But a lot of them are needed because the production volume is constantly increasing. We're all hope to see more paint colors this year on site.
Judging from this new video by Tesla, I assume those two new colors will be available soon

DANKE
Buna
21:50 are the failed cars ?
Let's call it test cars. 😊
Whats with all those parts?
scrap metal
why no roof solar panels!?!?
Check it out at 09:40. And that is just the beginning...
Looks like they have recruited too many Fiat workers. Bring in the robots!
Dozens upon dozens castings and shells set aside, is the price to pay for demanding excellence and perfect build, which Tesla are known for. It is all absolutely normal during the production start calibration period. Those discarded parts are the evidence that only when all parameters of excellence are met , the actual production process will begin , dishing out EV of superior quality defects free, and within required tolerances on the basic car complete shell. Another very strict scrutiny will be performed before the car is actually shipped out to customers to make sure that that there are no visible evidences of any smallest imperfection.
Exactly and all that metal can easily be recycled.
They are examples of faulty machines and why Tesla is looking to other manufacturers.
Damn all that and still customers get crap cars. I think for a car to be rejected at Tesla is when it catches fire and good for them that happens much later.
@@sexpistill That will be why owner satisfaction rates are so high.
@@gpsfinancial6988 E.Musk is personaly controlled every Aluminium Part from the Karosserie. Ever second part he throw away, go to hell only the best is fore me..
I am Musk an american, an american make only quality, do you know you f......g krauts (Ossis)
And still they build this place will it ever be finished or will it keep growing Elon has deep deep pockets !!!
Elon has also always new ideas. Like adding a paint shop for plastic components to the casting section.
4:50 those chimneys have just been brought this week up there by a helicopter
3:32 this white something with a chimney was also just installed the last few weeks
The factory is constantly growing and the individual processes are constantly being optimized.
This is also done at all other Gigafactories.
It is amazing to me to compare how long it has taken to finish off this site , to Giga Shanghai! I thought Germans were supposed to be fanatically tidy!😂
You know Tesla is an american company right?
In Germany there is a saying for this:
Good things take time. 😉👍🏼
21:00 hat es da gebrannt?
There was a cardboard fire by the recycling company handling Tesla’s cardboard
Ja leider. Es laufen aktuell noch Ermittlungen zur Brandursache.
Kurze Frage.
Dr Faust frug ihn: Was willst du sein, mein gruener Wald?
Nothing seems finished. A myriad tents on the periphery. Unending excavations. The exterior of the building, the part we can see, holds more questions than the unseen part, inside the building. How anything can get done in this sort of madhouse atmosphere is a miracle. If they were recently able to produce 1000 cars weekly in this circus, they should be doing well whenever this ludicrous, huge mess cleans up.
Yes, I hope so. Exactly my point. Seems to me really like a total mess and what is worse it’s been really a long time and you cannot see much of a progress.
Have you seen what Fremont looks like?
@@thetask1337 - Fremont they inherited from NUMMI, and they're doing the best they can to live with Other People's Mistakes. Berlin has no such excuses. They have to live with their own mistakes there. On the other hand, maybe they have seen mistakes and this is their process of correcting them. No wonder they're complaining of bleeding money there. Also, maybe they started production before its time.
@@zalman7208 the money bleeding comment was made when they hardly made any cars there. Now they are making 2000 cars a week, so I can imagine it's bleeding a lot less money then at the time that comment was made.
@@JobBorn86 - I don't know if anyone believes that any money are actually earned on the cars being made there today. For all I know they lose more money on cars being made there now than they would lose should no cars be made. Not to mention that the costliest item on the cars - the battery - has to be bought and brought from others, in China.
Serious question. Does anyone work in Germany?
Some do, but most don't on weekends, which is when drones are allowed to fly over the factory.
@@jwstolk ok that explains it. I’m just comparing what I see in Texas and China factories. It looks slower much slower actually.
@@simpleton8148 I don't have exact figures, but from the video's it looked like Texas had much more cars in the parking lots during the build, even assuming the Berlin parking places are full during the week. Another thing to keep in mind is that the Texas factory is build to grow, that factory still has huge unused space. Assuming fewer people where building the Berlin factory, The actual number of hours spend on building the Berlin factory could be pretty good, even if the total build time was a bit longer. Without actual information the factories are very hard to compare. Both factories seem to be planned to start production as soon as possible, and finish everything that is not critical for production last. Because of building height restrictions Berlin has many of these remaining items outside the main buildings, while Texas has everything hidden under one roof, making it more difficult to follow progress.
@@jwstolk not to mention German legacy automakers and the corruption between them and the government causing trouble for Tesla. Just goes to show you what a failure our systems is.
@@simpleton8148 We always film at the weekend. This time even on Sunday, since no overflight was possible on Saturday.
In fact, the performance of Giga Berlin is currently higher than that of Giga Texas.
muss synchron erfolgen- abgestimmt!

Again, dozens of dozens Castings sitting outside and Containers full of them being scrapped. I dont know if that´s a good sign...
It's an excellent sign or a sign of excellence (nothing but the best will do)
Don't worry. As long the number does not increase that much, i suspect they are there for a few weeks (with very limited addition) and will be melted. It takes some time until the best settings (and even minor changes on the casting forms) are found out (through experiments and optimization).
they sit outside in every factory except maybe Shanghai. Advantage of being impervious to the elements from the first second of production :) Plus, it frees up space inside.. why give them a roof they don't need?
