I would love to hear a conversation between a Stryxis and a Ferengi but I shudder to think what kind of monster they could create if they decided to "cooperate" (and at the same time trying to rip eachother off at every turn.

This is one of the rare times I've seen a title and know literally nothing about the subject matter.
That's why I love 40K lore, even after years of poring through all the stuff, there's still something new to explore.
As far as I know they only appear in the Rogue Trader RPG that came out in 2009.

Playable Faction? Unlikely. Playable, yes. Maybe as a henchmen for a radical Inquisitor in the Deathwatch Codex or some sort of ally for other Xeno scum like the Dark Eldar Court of the Archon.
You play this faction by "borrowing" your friend's army and "forgetting" where you left it... XD
Technically the Hrud are the 40k Skaven, but yeah these guys do have similarities.

Oh I remember those guys from Dark Heresy campaigns: they are basically what would happen if the Skaven bred with the Jews and colonized space. So basically utterly hilarious so long as you can stand the occasional backstab. And also occasionally had ridiculously good gear that no other race could or should have (veteran’s tip: NEVER let the Ad Mech player near them. It will end in binary rambling and holy fury. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.)
(In one campaign, in which btw I was the admech player and had as partners a sororitas, a heretek and an administratum that was far more of a heretek than the fucking heretek, we had an encounter with one of those... He just strait up sold a motherfucking STC to us and then proceeded to try to sell us A DAEMON ENGINE.
For some context, we were on a mission trying to find said daemon engine because the guys on the ship had found chaos traces and wanted to destroy them, we had gone to him for info, he just strait up showed us the STC as soon as my character entered the door and after the following negotiation (because no fucking way an ad mech isn’t buying that) the sororitas remembered to ask him for the engine and he just went “oh, yes-yes, I have what you’re looking for. But I must warn you it’s very-greatly EXPENSIVE! *hand rubs as he shows AN EVER-MUTATING TANK BEARING THE SIGNS IF FUCKING CHAOS UNDIVIDED ALL OVER IT HE HAD STORED IN THE BACKROOM!*” that was something alright.

Hey Arch, I know this is a bit out of place but remember Valrak from one of your podcasts? He got in touch with THQ about Space Marine, now he's aiming for SEGA on twitter. I know that it's kinda hopeless to think that they might give a damn after their most recent 40k tittle flopped on it's head, but hey we might get a sequel at best and lose nothing at worst. I'd really love a new Space Marine, I'm sure you would too so spreading awareness and retweeting would be sweet.

How to succesfully trade with a Stryxis:
Step 1: Make a DETAILED list about the things you want which includes the things to operate und maintain the stuff.
Step 2: Have an army of heavly armed bodyguards with you.
Step 3: Once you have what you want get the fuck out before the Stryxis has stupid ideas!
Step 4: Profit.
Step five: proceed to the proper distance necessary for a warp jump, MAKE SURE THEY DIDNT STEAL YOUR GELLAR FIELD GENERATOR, and fucking RUN

So, they absolutely HATE the eldar. So, hypothetically, if an imperial fleet of ships was trying to get some where and the quickest way was through there airspace, they would believe there airspace to be valuable because everyone else dose, if said imperial fleet was to offer to kill some eldar for them and take that nice old (utterly useless) imperial war ship (with everything inside it and fuelled) would they take that offer? as to them, kill eldar would be extremely valuable.

They aren't really the Skaven, the Hrud were meant to fill that role. They are basically the skeksis from the Dark Crystal movie, down to the fear and hatred of elves. Light beam weapons, war creatures, tearing out souls, its all in the movie.

Dam, Warhammer lore is so deep. I don't play. but I've been binging lore videos. and I'm constantly surprised at how much exists, and feel like I've not even scratched the surface, despite having the overall gist of the larger story. But the amount of minute details about so many things in each faction is amazing.
From the races, lifestyle, equipment, power, weapons, tech, "supernatural elements", and more is so vast. I feel like I'd never discover it all
Unlike so many other IP franchises
and all this detailed lore for a miniature figurines tabletop game that wouldn't even require all this lore for the game.
Not to mention the lore of the different Warhammer games, like Fantasy and age of Sigmar, outside of just 40k.

Arch, can you convert your lore videos to downloadable podcasts? Sell them for $$$. Half a dollar per episode? Maybe a bundle or series for a larger fee? When dealing with Stryxis. Always carry two guns. One to likely get their attention and want to trade. The other to speak the Stryxis' language of understanding the value of trading.
