Godox has already solved this problem and allows for HSS in that solution. All you need is an X1-R (brand doesn't matter since you don't need TTL) and one of their commanders. Attach the X1-R to the camera via cable (NOT the hotshoe) and handhold the commander as a wireless remote in HSS. You'll need to be on the same channel, of course.
So can I use these just like the pocketwizzard ? I mean the instead of pressing the button to send a signal to release the shutter - can I just mount the transmitter on the hot shoe and make the second camera fire as I click the shutter on the first camera????
Does the fc-16 transmitter work with Godox TT350C flash - without using the reciever with the flash? The TT350 flash has already built-in 2.4GHz radio system. The TT350 flash is compatible with Godox 2.4G wireless X system. Is FC-16 part of the "Godox 2.4G wireless X system"? I just want some smallest cheapest transmitter to trigger the flash, and not carry more stuff around.
Is it me or are Godox and Neewer in some ways the same? I have the same triggers the only difference is mine have Neewer written on it. But they are sold as Neewer FC-16 triggers.
They're different, Neewer just have a lot of their own versions of Godox products. We've seen their versions of Godox lights and there is a big difference in quality. Neewer studio accessories like their flags and C-stands are great though.
I need to use multiple studio strobes and I only have one trigger and one receiver. whoops, is it possible to set the 2nd 3rd and 4th lights to slave mode and fire them all same time?
It is but it won't be as reliable as attaching physical receivers to each. Optical slave works with line of sight so if the other flashes don't see the master flash fire you may encounter misfiring issues.
Any clue why my Godox ct16 trigger doesn’t seem to be working? New batteries, The triggers communicate fine with each other, same channels, ex 430ii slave mode is on.
Hi Hypop. For the model for Sony mirrorless, do you still need to plug a usb / multi function cable into the side? Or does the Sony version of the FC16 use the Sony Multi Function shoe to trigger the camera? Thanks.
The FC-16 model for Sony is compatible with the older Sony Alpha hotshoe, so for the newer models with the Multi Function shoe you'll need to plug in the cable.
You can. But not only that--thr X1-R is a more versatile solution than this F-16 (or whatever it's called) in the video. It allows for HSS and can be used in more ways than the new thing. All you need is a Godox commander. And if you already have an X1-R, you most likely already have a commander to fire it.
Thanks for the video mate. Are the compatible with the Canon R series cameras?
Does the Godox X2T trigger work with the receiver?

great video but will like to know if it is compatible with Godox tt600 thinklite spedlight?
How many speedlites can you use with this trigger at once? Also is there a maximum?

can the x2 control the triggers ?
Thanks. Very professionally explained: each step.
Glad it was helpful!
Hola. Como tendría que usarlos si tengo un xpro en la cámara y los fc16 en 2 flashes sin radio. Funcionaria?
Love your work so much! Keep making vids loke this and helping people like me. 😀 Much love ❤️
Does anyone know what is the difference between CT-16 and FC-16?

No, the FC-16 doesn't work without the receiver. You would need to mount the receiver to your flash for it to work.
can I shoot in live-view with these triggers? am using 5d IV

Are you using ''Silent Trigger'' because the flash will not fire unless the mechanical shutter is turned on.
@@Purlee100 figured it out. It is a bad connection with the trigger to the body. Have to push down on the trigger. Annoying. Thx

Sir can we connect X1 r to strobes
