I’ve always actually liked Ripley in her compression suit more than in the jumpsuit, so I’m glad to see this one actually has a more accurate headsculpt than every other Ripley! Especially considering I’ve had this pre-ordered on BBTS for months.
Yeah, mine doesn't have the hole in the harpoon gun anymore either. Not sure if that was a widespread factory error or a decision on their part. Kind of a bummer. Great figureotherwise, was happy to pick it up for that great looking headsculpt. And the helmet will actually plug into the collar all the way. It just takes some heat, cause it's a real snug fit.

I'm definitely glad that NECA decided to re-issue the Ripley Compression Suit. The original release was far from being a bad figure. However, this version has a much improved head sculpt and the added wash of dark paint is very much welcomed. Though, it's unfortunate that the grapple gun doesn't have a hole for the grapple hook, but I'm sure that it's an isolated issue rather than a widespread one. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for another great video. I really appreciate the hard work!
Cool review Decent Figure. My favorite Ripley is still the basketball Ripley, that head sculpt is amazing!. Not to mention she kicks Ron Perlman’s Butt!…hehe!.👍☮️

A new head sculpt doesn't warrant me to buy it, considering i have the older version. I also think the old Ripley body in her jump suit looks far better than the new one.
