MULTI SPECIES LURE CHALLENGE! Will this lure work?? West Lakes, South Australia

- G'day guys!
Hope you're all well! In this week's episode, I managed to find a small pocket of free time between studies and decided to walk the steps of West Lakes, in chase of a few fish. I Chose to try out the Zipbaits Zoea 49s, which just looked too irresistible to leave on the shelves! From reading a few articles, I found a lot of anglers have been rigging this particular lure backwards, with either a couple of assist hooks or a small treble leading behind the lure. So with all this in mind, I took to the steps of West Lakes and managed to find a wide variety of species!

The outlet is on bower Road mate! Done a bit of fishing in the port nothing serious though!

Hey Lee! This was at the West Lakes inlet, the lure is called the Zipbaits Zoea 49s, can get them from Sportfishing Scene!

Hey Tom, I just moved interstate to SA and wish to get into some fishing. Are there particular spots within Westlakes i should try? Its a big area. I think I identified the spots towards the end are where people fish the most? Along with the reserves area? Is that about right?
Hi Lynda! In my opinion, the West Lakes inlet can prove to be quite a productive spot, if fished at the right time etc. You can also try fishing the Bower Road Outlet- some good fish congregate around here as well! However, as you mentioned, they're are many, many spots throughout the lake. I've always found a great spot for me, is ease of access and less traffic from joggers etc! Hopefully you can find some good fish about!

What sort of times and or tides do you look for, for this type of fishing within the Lake mate? Can it be fished pretty much all year round? Cheers.
i dont usually run trebles especially if there is big flatties because they swallow lures and it takes ages to get the lure out

yeah but if im in a place were there might be flatties i will usually run singles
